Can the Uncle start a new comment on the M-W School Audit? The school board according to the state audit has been hiding millions of dollars in slush funds which are illegal for schools to do. They should have used this money to lower our school taxes. We need to vote all these people out of office.

Reportedly 14 million dollars. They should at least use about 25% of that cut the tax burden of the communities they serve.
So we live in a town where KJ is trying to take over, a mayor who is selling us down the river to KJ and now a school board that has been stealing our money. What a great town Woodbury is.
Make sure you all go to the BOE meeting at the HS on wed.
I think the Uncle should hold a debate for the people running for the school board.

I have "heard" that they are coming from the incumbents.
Looks like they're pulling all the stops to keep their seats. I for one am voting against each and everyone of them.

Friends,
Tonight is the public budget hearing on the proposed school budget for next
year. The meeting is at the high school and starts at 7pm. You can sign up to
speak for 3 minutes. The budget is less than a 1% budget to budget increase, a
levy of 0.89% and preserves our teaching staff and educational programs. If
you have time, please come and support the district and our children.
ALSO I have already spoke with some of you but we need to get the word out. KJ
is running candidates for the school board this year. They approached me last
year and I of course told them NO WAY. The dissident group seeks private
special education for their children at Rabbi Deutch's school in Rockland, cost
to the taxpayer = $1 million and that is just the beginning. Candidates Vargas,
Feliciano and O'Brien if elected, will be sympathetic to their cause, petitions
with mostly Hassidic names were handed in to the District Clerk. DO NOT LET MW
BECOME EAST RAMPO. YOU MUST VOTE THIS YEAR!

Jen Trumper should be thrown out of office. Racist comments like those are what perpetuates hate and I believe is against Jews in general.
I have lived in Woodbury for 29 years and am Jewish. My children came up through Monroe Woodbury Schools. I believe in a good education, but not scare tactic such as this.
And No, I am not hasidic. She should be pressured to resign.
Based on the voting results, it appears that the M-W residents want someone like that on the Board.

after reading several comment on many issues going back to 2007. What the hell is Burke an manny still involved. I would like to know where they are today and what have they done to help there town Just curious to see how one sells out its people. Sad very sad
