The democrat numbers are building in Woodbury and Ralph has cried wolf too many times....the voters of Woodbury have made their case. Ralph is a force to be KEPT OUT of politics at all costs. Now let's get on the road to making Woodbury one of the really nice places to live again...no ugly politics during the year just to grandstand on television (yes Ralph and cronies, I mean you).

James was, by far and away, the strongest one running not even including how hard he worked for it...there's no way Frank would've won without him!

Young James desrves to have his ass kissed by Manny, Frank and company, because HE did an excellent job in running his OWN campaign-Palermo (and Burke to a certain extent) rode in on his coat-tails. My hope is that he continues to be an independent thinker, and that he step away from the idiots on the Democratic committee who think that THEY got him in office!

James took 27.2%, Frank 26.13%, Ralph 23.85% and George 22.82%.
Those numbers aren't entirely accurate being as how people got to vote for 2 council candidates.
I think the poster was looking for a turnout percentage though.

Just want to thank everyone who came out and voted - whether for me or not - and express my gratitude for being given the opportunity to stay on the board and continue serving Woodbury.
I also want to thank my opponents for running a clean and civil campaign. I now know first-hand how much time and commitment is required of being a candidate and I applaud all those who ran - as I said throughout the campaign, I'll be attentive and receptive to EVERYONE, so I welcome any dialogue or ideas, regardless of which camp you were in during the election.
Now let's get to work on the issues facing Woodbury.

OK, time to make some concrete suggestions. Computerize Town Hall completely. That includes payroll and having the supervisor learn how to use email. Nail down the contracts with OUR employees quickly. Do it with respect and decency. Fair on all sides. Times are tough for all. Do not waste OUR money on the legal end of this as they have and continue to do. Figure out something with the Village and the Town--to eliminate one or the other. After all, what did the Village gain for us? It certainly does not stop annexation like we were all told. Work towards the common good. Guess after you all read this you might suggest I go back to lah-lah land. Just food for thought.

While the 6:51 poster has some worthwhile suggestions, he/she clearly does not understand how the police contract has been negotiated. The town labor attorney has been used only on very rare occasions, so to suggest that we are driving up legal costs with the prolonged contract is simply incorrect - the board's negotiating team has been handling the vast majority of the meetings without the labor attorney.
