It's on

The Pieman informs us that there will be a debate among the four Town Council Candidates on Friday, November 4th, 7:30 PM in the auditorium of the Central Valley Elementary School.

He mentions that it's sponsored by OCEAN and the Woodbury Chamber of Commerce.

He says nothing about putting together a mud-wrestling match between the two candidates for Highway Superintendent.

Woodbury residents complaining of how the New York State Police direct traffic on Route 32 at the south end of town on the weekends call their dispatch at Troop F, Zone 2 Station in Monroe 782-8311.

Call them when you are stuck traffic.
Call them when they stop you from getting home.
Call and put pressure on them to get the local traffic moving.

The state police are a joke. They sit there on 32 with the lights flashing and do nothing. I have sat at the light over and over again, while the people coming out of the Commons block the box continuously. I have yet to see them give out one ticket. And they dont direct traffic. They sit in the squad car bullshitting with each other, and laugh when they see us getting pissed off. It cost us the tax payer alot of money for them to sit there and do nothing.

And the Town Police are no better.

And Woodbury Common is going before the Planning Board to expand...

YIPPIE?? Expand? The place is falling apart.

your tax dollars do not pay for the state police outside the commons. the commons pays for it.

Can't wait until we get to ask why Levine is robbing us taxpayers blind.

Interesting ad and response in the Gazette today.

Did Ben show Carlton the ad in advance / how did he get a chance to respond before it came out? That seems absurd and unprofessional.

1) Carlton doesn't address whether he takes kickbacks from his union job. Wonder what that means. And because TWO councilmen take the benefit, it must mean it's OK to do so!

2) Carlton only voted himself a raise last year, not the couple years prior. Someone get the man a trophy!

3) The Police Chief, if quoted correctly in the ad, said the technology was necessary for safety. Carlton instead sided with the union bosses.

4) "No reason to believe that we have had more or less closed sessions" !?!? Wow, he is either a bigger shit than I thought or lived on another planet prior to 2007. This board has about 10x the number of closed and exec sessions as Sheila's boards.

5) Carlton was only one of three names on the flyer. Oh, that makes it fine. I amend my last thought - he's just a bigger shit than I thought. And how does he know it had no impact on the election he won by TEN VOTES?

Carlton Levine is a shit stain on Woodbury.

ANYONE
BUT
CARLTON

I'm a Democrat voting for BoBo and Arone. Screw Levine just like he has screwed us taxpayers.

I'm voting for Weyant.

Haviland
Arone
Weyant

That's the winning ticket. If only we had a Supervisor candidate.

Levine isn't qualified to be dogcatcher in this town.

I can get on board this ABC bandwagon
