I watched tonight (Thursday). I thought the best speech was Rubio. The strangest was Eastwood. And I was taken aback that the crowd in the hall thought that the problem of rising sea levels was a joke.

Why didn't Romney say anything about our soldiers in Afghanistan. We're at war at he didn't even mention it.

How come Romney didn't say anything about Woodbury? We have soo many problems here!!!!!

He was going to,but after he took one look at our clueless Town Board, he figured he would keep his distance and talk about some less shady people, like Chavez, Sandusky, or the president of Iran. (to hell with trying to spell that one!)

I like our Town Board!!!

Only about fifty people in the whole Town have a problem with the Town Board! The rest of us really don't give a crap!! We have much more serious problems to deal with, rather then bitch and whine about "The misdeeds" of the board.

What's the more serious problems?

You tell me smart guy!!

I don't care about the town board either! After all, what can they do to us? Declare War?

You should care. Think about how local issues such as the expansion of the Woodbury Commons affects everyone in town, even you commuters!

But John Burke, the Supervisor, will probably protest against it like he did long before he became supervisor.
I am sure you remember his speeches at town board meetings some years ago!

And Rightly so!! The Common's plan does nothing in regards to the movement of traffic out of the commons and onto Hwy 32. They should be allowed to expand parking until NYDOT completes their project.

well, the village mayor is behind the expansion so don't expect help from him.

Oh smart!! Let the NYSDOT do the expansion...and then let the Commons add extra parking. In the mean time we can continue to suffer with traffic issues till then, at least the commons has a plan ready to move ahead and they are trying to do something! The state on the other hand, is dragging it's feet and seam so concerned about the quality of life here in Woodbury!!
