And congratulations to Woodbury for not voting to extend the terms of office for mayor and trustees! Why do we need to extend them if the village mayor and trustees are working to eliminate the village as they say are. Is it going to take at least four more years to do that? Or is it just a bunch of bullsh@t that they used to get re-elected?
They are not talking about eliminating the village but "consolidation" The problem is the Harriman part. It is up to the state to do this and Mike and the trustees have been working very hard to get this done!!! The term extensions were just in case it doesn't get consolidated soon, they wanted to save the taxpayers the cost of so many elections!!!

The Record is reporting the prop to move the village elections from March to June has passed but is not reporting on the other two relating to terms.
