Here we have the palm-card handed out by Anash (the ruling party in KJ) on election day.
Here are the interesting things to note:
1 - Their recommendations are signalled by showing the lever being down.
2- They don't make any recommendations for President/Vice President.
3 - For all other offices they recommend the Independence Party's candidates.
4 - The Independence candidates are Democrat John Hall (Congress) and all the others are Republicans (Larkin, Rabbit, etc.)
5 - Most interesting of all is the little line at the very bottom which says: "PAID FOR BY JOHN HALL FOR CONGRESS."
So, was it, and did Hall know?
If not, what's his reaction?

The question is...is this card legit?? One will never really know. On the president selection, KJ overwhelmingly voted (or directed to vote)McCain/Palin as per the Photo News...I guess almost 98%.
Oh and a second thought of legitimacy...where is the line for state rep???? It's not there. Seems like an inside job to me.

Back to the issue about half-way up- are you telling me that we will no longer have the automatic arm garbage pick-up and must now purchase new cans ourselves? And Haviland was the one who negotiated this contract? What was he thinking. Great, now we'll go backwards to the time when bags of trash and garbage cans were left scattered along the roads and bags of garbage were torn open by animals. I guess the whole Bo "acting" stupid really isn't an act afterall! What a moron!
On a side note, if he does procurement for a living, isn't procuring for the Town a conflict of interest?
So does that mean that Desiree has more important things on her mind than her re-election? No, she always has room for that and will do anything to get re-elected including using her husband for sympathy to get votes.(However, we wish him well)
She is not above anything when it comes to re-election including kissing the asses of people she doesn't like if she thinks that will help and screwing others if she thinks that will help.
So now she is saying: "my husband is sick, vote for me". Last time it was: "my husband needs a job, vote for me"
Better yet, maybe she should give up one of her part time jobs and take care of him if he is so sick.

So let's do the math on this new stellar refuse contract that Haviland put together for us fine residents. You had 95 gallon cans, now you can only have 35 gallon cans. This means more cans and lids to blow around the streets, more cans to lug in and out weekly. Bears and animals rummaging through the garbage, making a mess all over town. Yea, great job as usual by our wonderful town board. Seems like a screw up on the same level as all the wasted money on the C.V. pond. Can't wait until next election, they are doing themselves in.

Queenan and Gianzero tried to buck the system.
The big problem, unfortunately is that Woodbury politics chews through its qualified people faster than we can grow them. I've never agreed with Mike and Jerry on everything- in fact I've disagreed pretty strongly with certain things in the past- but I've seen them work hard for our town, and win their offices fair-and-square.
Hmm- maybe Burke and company will add magic surprise endorsements on their cards too. Its amazing what a printer can do when there's no accountability to the truth.
I think they should go for the Queen of England- or God. Why hold back?
