Another Slice Of Pie

The Pieman sends an invite.

He's putting together a debate of the Village mayoral and trustee candidates to take place on March 3rd at 7:30 PM at the CV Elementary School.

He says: "OCEAN has arranged for a site, chairs, tables, microphones and a moderator. The moderator will be Tony Houston, former Warwick Supervisor and Photo-News reporter. He will have full control over the format and the content.

"Tony is also handling the invitations and I'll pass along the responses by the three slates."

So, take all those questions that you folks have been posting here and schlep them down to the Elementary School and annoy the hell out of the candidates.

The Junction will have 481 homes verses 150. Is'nt that GREAT! Mindy Prosberri, Iris Sandow, Mike Aronawitz, Mike Queenan, Shelia Conroy, Nancy Binder, Judy Hoffman, and Collen Campbell, Ed. and whoever else was in favor of 481 versus 150 make sure they get a standing ovatation because they really pulled one over on the community. How many sold their homes????????

Anonymous said...

Total was 451 which included a resident already there.

Get your figures straight.

Anonymous said...

Mindy sold her home to KJ hard to believe her husband has a business in town (Village)

Anonymous said...

Larkin sold his soul to KJ hard to believe his aide has supporters in town (Village)

Listen bucko, like I said in previous blogs, You and I both know that if the price was right, Your ass would be out of this shithole as fast as crap through a goose, stop being hipocrites and shut the hell up pigs!

thats, sorry unk.

If Larkin took KJ's money and then hauled his ass "out of this shithole as fast as crap through a goose" it would be fine with me.
It's the fact that he takes their money and then stays around to screw over everyone else that pisses me off.

I agree, Larkin needs to go and take that swill Caruso with him, however, the house were already approved, there is nothing we can do about it, except remember and try to not make the same mistakes twice or in woodburys case over and over again, We need a better group of politicians, because what we have is sad! I like them but they should not be leading Woodbury, Town or Village, the problem with this site and Woodbury in general is that most people outside those already in office don't know whats going on and just go on living thier lives not realizing whats going to effect them until it already happens, we need to get more Woodbury residents involved and informed, then things will get better, until then like a prior posted put it.. we are all doomed! Sorry if i made spelling errors I'm not an english expert.

Anonymous said...

We are all doomed

Uncle Betty said...

Well, yes, eventually.

What you all fail to remember is that if it stayed at 150 homes KJ would own that land now, along with Ace farms it would be in their Village now. The way the Real Estate market has turned out everyone should thank Mike A for taking the money and running out of town. Mike and the rest of them all moved out of Woodbury because they are smarter then us, all were insiders and bolted; what does that tell you? The poster left off Harry and Holly too, the rest of us are screwed because we can’t sell, but if I could I would get out of here and sell to KJ or anyone willing to buy.

Uncle Betty said...

What are you asking?

Anonymous said...

To the 8:10 poster, you said it!! hear hear!!!

Anonymous said...

The uncle says that all three slates will be present at he debate, I have a question, will Desiree and the village attorney be available to answers questions for the Mayor???

Anonymous said...

Will Caruso be there to answer questions for his meat puppets?

Anonymous said...

Well we know Queenan will be there with his rhetoric. Wonder if he'll disclose his current occupation or sad negotiations, or lack thereof, with the employees. Should make for a festive night all around!

Anonymous said...

to the 8:10 poster; thanks for doing your part to save Woodbury. It's because of people like you that we have problems.

To the poster about all the people who moved out of town; why would any of them want to live here. Take a look at all the candidates who at one time or another were all friends. Woodbury is a soap opera! Ralph Carsuo backed every board member since 2000 and not one of them speaks with him. Mike Q backed Stephanie and now is running for her seat. Don was Gerri biggest supporter now does not speak with her. Ralph handpicked and groomed Mike A then stabbed him in the back. The whole Republican team backed Conway and then at the first meeting turned on her! Then you have the Community Party started by Maria Hunter then they push her out. The party backs Neil and then questions every move behind his back. Now the party is run by Stephanie’s husband who happens to be the hand picked by the chief of police for his job! Swiller loves Loraine then hates her backs her then does not talk to her anymore. Burke picks Aranowitz for his right hand man but puts out a flyer of lies! Cant forgot the other CO Stars; dancing Hank Sullivan, Good old Harry Dobson, Holly, Manny Manuagl head of the Dem party working with the Reps last election. We can’t forget Colleen C who hated Sheila buts still speaks to Don. I can go on for days about why would anyone stay in Woodbury, they were smart.

The 12:03 poster couldn't be more dead on! Wow, finally some truth has been written in this blog!! Glad someone else has a friggin memory!

Anonymous said...

I would sell to the highest bidder. BUT BUT BUT I would not be having meetings in people's homes asking them to support the zoning changes knowing I was going to make the big score.
I would let the people who wanted to stay and raise their families decide. Are you saying Mike Queenan Shelia Conroy Mike AronowitZ(FILPPER) Colleen Campbell Gerry Gianzaro were BLACKMAILED??????? Gee Coleen Campbell ought to know blackmail is illegal because she is retired New York City Detective getting a 3/4 TAXFREE PENSION!!! I think she's a registered nurse now. I guess her back does't hurt anymore.

Anonymous said...

Let’s remember a couple of season ago when Ralph backed Hank to run against Gerri after he supported her. Oh and Hanks wife then gets a seat on the committee to vote for him and not Gerri. Then we have Don, Mike Q and John Burke all working together to from a Village and then Ralph runs for Mayor only to lose after Mike Q supports Stephanie along with Gerri, Mike A, Loraine, Colleen, Conway. Then we have Ralph the chairman of the party does not support Sheila for Supervisor so behind the scenes works for Burke. All of the above dislike Kellerman and now he on co running the Community party that they started. You just can’t make this stuff up.

Anonymous said...

When will the Village Board meetings be televised?

Anonymous said...

The 5th of never.

Stephanie's palm card does a great job of describing the duties of the Mayor, that she claims as her accomplishments.

so sad.........

Anonymous said...

Does that include her staring mindlessly into space when asked a thought provoking question as if the answer will come from the ceiling or appear on a big banner from the back of the room......of course this only happens when Desiree or Goldin aren't present to answer for her! However I will admit that shes the best looking and most in shape of the entire bunch!

Anonymous said...

Lets see, "who do you think wrote WEEKS'S Palm CARD?" Oh I know, it must be someone related to Kelleman! Anymore ideas.....

Anonymous said...

To the 10:27 poster: You are right her accoplishments are the duties of the mayor. In the 2+ years the village has been in existence, she has done the duties of mayor!

Anonymous said...

A whole lot of duty (crap) in two years. whoppee lunch!

Anonymous said...

The mayor does not do the duties of mayor, she delegates them to the attorney at a high cost to the taxpayers or she delegates them to Desiree, who wants to be mayor but knows that no one will vote for her.

Who is Conway?

Anonymous said...

Here we go...can't list anything she's done worng for the Village, so you have to post bullshit. Real intelligent from a bunch of mindless morons. Gotta do better than that if you hope to get YOUR crew elected!

Anonymous said...

I dont have a crew and I think that the Mayor is a nice person, I think she relies too much on the lawyer.

If I disagree with you it doesn't mean I am a moron. It means I disagree with you.

Anonymous said...

I have never been involved in forming a new village government before. How much is too much when it involves the lawyer? I do know the town lawer is there at every meeting. All you need to do is watch channel 22 and there he is. I also know the town has been around a lot longer than the village. How much is too much?

Anonymous said...

I have to wonder what the "cry" would be if the Village bd made a legal decision without their lawyer that ended up in court? Then they would be negligent for NOT consulting with a lawyer- so there you have it- you're screwed no matter what you do!

Anonymous said...

worng??? next time spell check douchebag!

Anonymous said...

Which is worse- a spelling error or calling someone such a vulgar name? I sure hope the name caller and their kind are NOT running for office!

Anonymous said...

What's vulger about douchebag, you can find products to douche with in any department store! see, yet again a prime example of people having no balls and worrying about offending others, ohh boo hoo...and one more thing, could we all just agree to knock off the crap about spelling and grammer errors.. This is a blog site, not an english test, folks are typing away to try to exprees their feelings! The rest of us know what their trying to say!

they're

Anonymous said...

All this talk about body parts in the lower extremities makes us think that these posters don't have anything to speak of in the upper extremities, like inside their heads!

Anonymous said...

Isn't there a debate sponsored by the businessmen (Chamber of Commerce) this week?

Uncle Betty said...

Dunno. Is there? News to me.

Anonymous said...

Up yours!

Anonymous said...

douchebag......now thats funny!!

Anonymous said...

You last poster, are quite pathetic and peripatetic as well!!!

Uncle Betty said...

I wasn't aware of his wandering ways.

Anonymous said...

Gotta cover all bases with you a-holes!

Uncle Betty said...

Ah, another planet heard from.

Anonymous said...

Uncle, now you see how they wander, mentally!

Anonymous said...

So, about this DERRRRRRBATE, what's the format?

Anonymous said...

The format and content are up to Tony Houston.

All nine candidates have said they'd be there. As I understand it there will be short opening statements (I don't know if that will be for all nine or just the mayoral candidates).
Then Tony says that he intends to use a half dozen or so questions submitted by the audience as the basis for discussion by the candidates, with, I expect, rebuttals and follow-ups.
Then we'll all have a giant snowball fight in the parking lot.
