Writing from "The Chairman's Corner," Perversion Party Chairman Ralph Caruso expresses unhappiness that some unnamed individual is living in a bungalow colony and paying a "seasonal rate" on taxes.
Our little blabberbird in the Perversionist nest tells us that he believes that Caruso is referring to the Pieman.
So, we emailed the pieguy directly and asked for a response.

Raananah Park where I live is not and has never been a bungalow colony. Also we are assessed at the full rate. Mr. Caruso knows that because he's been through my tax records.

Either Mr. Caruso is talking about someone else or he is knowingly putting out misinformation.
I note that he doesn't name anyone. That makes it easier to put out wrong information, because he can't be hauled into court.

Ralph is old news- I want to know what the heck is going on with the damn garbage?? Are the pails getting picked up, or what? Why didn't they leave well enough alone?

Oh please, Ralph IS old news. Ya, we know, like a bad case of dandruff, he just keeps coming back, but his philosophy IS old news and will never change. The whole garbage debacle is NEW, and if in fact Mr. Queenan IS on the refuse committee, why is he running for mayor when he can't even do his job as Town board member? At least two thirds of the Town don't even know what is going on with their garbage- do you put it in the old cans, are the old cans being picked up, can you keep the old cans??? Seems like whoever in Town hall or the Refuse Dept you speak to, you get a different answer...and all to save a whopping $25 bucks?? Hell, my new cans cost 3-4 times that amount, so where's the savings Mr. Queenan?
My garbage got picked up even though I wanted to keep it. So its happening. If you want to blame anyone, blame County Waste for being a baby about this. They lost the contract. End of story.
I say we bring all the cans down to town hall, it seems like a place that garbage, waste and stink collect, what could be better then that!

it's funny how the garbage fiasco is all due to Councilman Bo Haviland and someone thinks they are being clever by trying to make it Mike Q's fault.
With the village taxes so high, I need the garbage can to live in!!!!
How much are your Village taxes? Remember they now include fire protection (Fire Department), water & sewer, building, planning, and zoning. Yes they do include attorney and engineer fees, but all these costs were included in your Town taxes before and now they are with the Village.
Does Bo cast one deciding vote? Did Mr. Queenan agree to accept the new contract? If so, then it would appear that he's equally to blame for "the fiasco". Can't have it both ways now.

Not even close to what the Town Board Council "earns" by doing half the work they used to!
I know that all 5 Board members voted "YES" on the new garbage company. So blame all 5 for the change. Burke may have been the one who really wanted to see County Waste gone for other reasons, personal as they may be, but the rest all followed suit. All, yes John, yes John.

There are admin cost, engineering costs, legal costs as well as the small stipends. The fees imposed in no way covers all this.
Ever hear of Escrow Accouts -
that's what these funds pay for with the exeption of the minimal stipends.

John Burke did not like the garbage company because he did not like the fact that the trucks had cameras in the back. He did not want them taking pictures of his house.
