In regards to a previous posting about the $150.00 meal spent while conducting town bussiness in NYC in Feb. IT WAS NO OTHER THAN MIKE QUEENAN AND GEORGE SEWITT ( AND THAT'S A FACT !!) So much for watching out for the taxpayers in Woodbury .

Ralph,
I think you meant to say "none other" not "no other"
Your Helpful Uncle

Uncle Betty said...

By the way Ralph.
I really should commend you on looking out for for the town's money.
Please do keep protecting us from wasteful politicians, unnecessary expenditures, costly lawsuits...
oh wait, I forgot, you're the one raising money to sue the town.
Never mind.

Please tell me how you know this because the newspaper did not list any names; but if this is true they should be ashamed of themselves! Why do all these people need to go on these trips and stay over in New York City when most of the people that live in our town go back and fourth each day. I work in the city and they could take a train or a bus each day and save us a lot of money on hotels and meals.

Uncle Betty said...

By all means ask them.

But the Uncle has a hard time getting worked up over an expensed meal when there are far worse things going on.

Ralph Caruso, who doesn't take a step that Senator Bill Larkin doesn't want him to take, is over in Cornwall raising money to sue Woodbury.
He claims that if Legacy Ridge is allowed to build homes on two acre lots that that's "Hisgh Density."
He claims that 120 homes added to the Cornwall school district is unacceptable (as if he gives a rat's ass about the Cornwall school district) while he and Randazzo ignore hundreds of new homes proposed for Cornwall and New Windsor.
He lost an election in Woodbury and he'll get even by screwing the town.
He'll do all he can to force Brodsky to sell his property to KJ.
And we're supposed to ignore all that and worry about an expensed dinner.
I don't think so.
It's all meant to get our attention off what he and Larkin are trying to do to our town.
And the Uncle doesn't really like that at all.

They board will pass the project so they should just move to Cornwall.

what about the supervisor running up a bar bill when he goes out to dinner at the town's expense. just check the vouchers.

Uncle Betty said...

If once or twice a year the town buys Burke some drinks or Sewitt a dinner, fine.

Don't sweat the small stuff.

Bill Larkin and Ralph Caruso are trying to give away the whole town.

The old shell game is one of pure midsirection. They wave their right hand up and down and that's where we look. Meanwhile the left hand just lifted our wallets.

Fooled me once your fault, fooled me twice, three times, four - OK, you've proved I'm an idiot - but you're still a lying crook.

Hey Uncle- have you checked out the website electbooth.blogspot.com? Some interesting info on the Republican committee closed-door meeting. Gotta hand it to that Booth, he's an honest guy, and keeps his word to his constituents. Seems Ralph is a little concerned that the committee could be stomping on the open meetings law if the committee discusses Town business, since a majority of the Town Board are also members of Ralph's committee. Funny, it's only been that way like, FOREVER!!! Why is he bothered by it now???Oh ya...Geri and Mike Q are no longer attached to Ralph at the hip...now it's perfectly clear!!!

Wow the bill was only $150.00 for those two fat guys, it could have been alot more.

Anonymous said...

Jimmy I mean sissy if you want people to go your web site you need to make it a little better.

Anonymous said...

wasn't that Queenan guy the past chairman of the planning board and isn't Sewitt the current chairman of the same board ? If so I wonder what they were planning after they ordered their $150.00 dinner ?

Funny thing a previous blogger said: "why do these people have to stay in NYC..." The difference can be explained this way: it is like the difference between living on your college campus and commuting. The commuters miss alot not only in regard to official education, but learning from others, exchange of info and ideas etc.

Another thing: if everyone is so concerned about the cost of meals in NYC, then why don't they change the location of the meetings to a less expensive city/town? But that won't happen because NYC wants the convention business and the organization that runs the meetings doesnt want to piss them off.

So whoever is trying to make a big deal out of this, get a life!!!

Mr Burke our Supervisor also ran up quite a tab on food. He had no problem feeding his fat face. Oh, I almost forgot, he also had a beer.
As for George Sewitt, he has been a volunteer for this town for at least seven years, if not more. The Planning Board meetings are twice a month and sometimes go on for several hours. As Chairman he has to prepare for the meetings beforehand and this takes at least a day. The Town gives him about $500.00 a year for his time.
How sad and selfish for people to not want to buy our town volunteers a meal once in awhile.
We pay our Supervisor about $55,000 dollars a year. He should buy his own meal.
The classes they attend are very important. They learn about grant money that's available and different ways to save the town money, not to mention important and new information to help them do there jobs better.
Give me a break. To those who have a problem I suggest you crawl back into your hole.

Uncle Betty said...

Last poster, I agree with you about Sewitt, but not about Burke. They both deserve a meal on us.

But you all keep falling for the misdirection. Forget the meals and worry about what Caruso, larkin, Siebold, Donnelly and the rest are doing to our town.

Keep your eyes on the ball.

How do you think Ralph has maintained such control???? He is the Master of Manipulation! He directs his following to divert our attention whenever the heat is turned up. Prime example- Holly moves to Cornwall, yet is kept on the Woodbury Republican committee, and is now instrumental in getting her new found neighborhood to join in the suit financially against her ex-town of residency! Uncle, you are 100% right...we need to keep him and his followers under a microscope if we ever hope to save our town. Keep in mind that Ralph is the sorest of losers, and just won't slither away as we all hoped. He is VINDICTIVE and will go to any length to get his way. Anyone who knows him knows it's the truth.

Hey Ankle Biter- your comment about Jim Booth being a sissy...ever look in a mirror? At least he appears to be MAN who keeps his word and campaign promises. Obviously, the Caruso supporters on the Republican committee have to be watching their backs with Jim on board. It's about time they have some integrity on that committee.

I am a former friend of Don Siebold's. I can tell you first hand what a lying manipulating dirty dealing type of person he is. The type of person who will skim money off the top. (Seen him do this first hand). He was the one who always had the theory that our elected officials are taking bribes, lying, cheating and on the take.
He is a psychopath who has done all these things himself, so believes everyone else is doing the same.
He also wants power. But what he cannot except, is that he has none. People either laugh at him or pity him, but because he's delusional he has visions of grandeur about himself as if he is in the middle of something important. He needs to understand that the people in Woodbury reject him and his boss Ralph, that's why they needed to spread their cancer to Cornwall.
When you read this Don, I hope you take these words seriously and yourself less seriously.
Happy Mother's Day to all!!!!!!!!!!

Better get the facts right. One name that is left out of the equation is none other than PETE STABILE, yeah the same person who wants his job as Superintendent of Highways increased to four years.
Now I understand shy. He loves the perks.

Anonymous said...

what in the world does pete stabile have to do with any of this. so what he want's his position upped to 4 years. why wouldn't he. who in their right name would want to go through the expense of an election every two years. personally, I would rather have our public officials work 4 years instead of concentrating their efforts on winning a campaign every other year. what we need to worry about is the conspiracy between john burke, ralph caruso, don siebold and the nut job himeself bob donnelly. you have a supervisor who ran for no other reason than to have signs put in front of his house, do away with the current garbage company, prevent anymore business from profiting in woodbury, get rid of realators and all their signs and lets not forget the biggest crime RAISE YOUR TAXES. see john would love to increase the highway department so that they can come pick up all his leaves and grass cuttings. he want's a new garbage company so that we can go back to the traditonal cans and the garbage company then would go back up private roads and driveways to get people's garbage. oh, by the way that means they would drive right up to mr. burkes house and get his garbage. the problem is the rest of us would then have to go out and buy all new cans and haul them back down to the street because you know the garbage company will only be driving up john burkes driveway and all his friends, not the rest of us common folk.

Ummmm....to the "anonymous sissy" (prob. Ralph or Don) who must be so scared of me he cant sign his name...if i wanted to advertise my site on here, i would have used my name, what do i have to hide. Unlike the majority of the committee who keeps the meetings closed..., so u all know, i will be posting notes on the April meeting soon...sorry for the delay ;-)

Hey Jimmy, I think your blog is informative. We should know what's going on at the closed Republican meetings. As crazy as Bob Donnelly is, I have to give him credit to at least expose his totally corrupt committee.
On the other hand Ralph wants to keep his closed, so when he goes into fits of rage, only the members of the committee witness it. I read Jimmy's notes and had to laugh when I read that Ralph verbally attacked OUR elected officials. I guess he's just jealous because they all won and Ralph didn't..

Anonymous said...

Don't give Donnelly too much credit, cuz I hear when things heat up, they now go into EXECUTIVE SESSION, and then the public has to leave! Hey Uncle, are there any rules that govern municipal political committees, ie the open meetings rules, etc? If so, do Caruso or Donnelly abide by them? Same question for getting on the committees. I hear the Democrats just need to write a letter, and if you're kissing the right butts on the current committee, you're on!

Johnnie boy Swiller, why don't you just come forward as Uncle betty or are you afraid that once it is revealed everyone will laugh at you, like the joke you really are.
