Eddie Carries KJ's Water

KJ asks Orange County for water towers in new Gonzaga parkland.

Officials of the Village of Kiryas Joel have asked Orange County for permission to erect two water towers on a half acre of land on the county’s Gonzaga property in Blooming Grove. The land is going to be developed into the newest county park.

County Executive Edward Diana Wednesday brought the village’s request to the Physical Services Committee of the county legislature.

He told lawmakers the village needs the towers for fire suppression and water pressure. “This is water that already exists from their wells,” he said. “This is just storage tanks that would store the water; there would be no increase in the water that they have.” This would have nothing to do with the exploration of new water, Diana said.

In return for the water towers, the village has offered to let the county tap into their supply for parkland use.

Wonder what former Parks Commissioner, Graham Skea, thinks of this?

A little history. When the Village idea was floated there was a lot of misinformation out there. Joe Ferguson and I announced that we would bring experts to a forum to answer people's questions.

Ralphie came to see Joe and me to convince us that experts had biases and only he could be counted on to give people honest answers.

We didn't buy it and we held the forum (there was one glitch when one expert got an important question wrong. We corrected her within 5 minutes.)

Caruso then held two of his own forums with Blum (the self-congratulating bozo at the Board meeting)as the resident legal expert.

When Blum was asked about annexation it turned ou that he didn't have a clue.

Tonight he left that out when he said he researched like crazy and had all the answers. Bullshit!

He did say, repeatedly, that he had stood shoulder to shoulder with Burke and Queenan. He conveniently left out that Caruso's and Siebold's shoulders were in there too.

Also, Uncle, you didn't mention Caruso's little cameo at tonight's meeting. Someone had just said that she had called State Senator Bill Larkin about the laws that empower the Tax Assessor. Larkin said that it was outside his jurisdiction. (Double Bullshit!)

So Caruso had to change the subject. He accused the Town Attorney of spreading misinformation by (at this point Ralph went into meaningless double talk).

Triple Bullshit!

I asked Christine Martin to send me info on the grievance process. As soon as it comes in I'll put it up on the SOCA at Work website.

Dear Uncle:

Some corrections:

The 3 wells IN Gonzaga are in Blooming Grove.

The water towers are in Woodbury.

The lawyer who spoke at the 5-18 Town Board meeting is: Barton Bloom not Blum.

He mentioned that he is a "poor retired State employee" and a lawyer.

He used to work for, wait for it now, for..... none other than.....
SENATOR BILL LARKIN!!!!!

Does ANYONE see the connection here?

Donnelly (The Toad)
Bloom (The sadly misinformed lawyer)
Siebold (Ankle biter)
Caruso (Mr. Sleeze)
and wait for it again........
SENATOR BILL LARKIN!

The same Senator who gives a rats ass about Woodbury!
The same senator who told a woman last night that the assessor issue is "not his jurisdiction"
The same senator that cares nothing for our traffic problems (which could EASILY be taken care of if we had another thruway exit/entrance north of Woodbury so that the people from Cornwall and New Windsor (and the truckers that use RT 32 and Smith Clove as their highway) would not have to travel THRU our town)because he lives in Cornwall and doesn't want it!

Do you people out there get it?
You are being played!!!!
Uncle sorry for the long winded-ness but the point had to be made.

Since it looks like the ankle biter reads whats here, here is what i want to ask him. It's just a question mind you, but I want to know, did he know anything about a put up job against a cop named J.R.M.?
And if so, what did he ever do to you? He didn't even know you.
He was a good cop and did nothing bad. What i'm asking is maybe you already knew that?

Towers are being discussed again at the County bldg, physcial services committee meeting top floor Wed June 21 at 3 pm

There is something fishy going on here, the Village of KJ is acting like the towers in the park is a "done deal".
