The big vote of the summer of 2006, as far as Woodbury is concerned, happens on Thursday, July 6th at 7:30 at the Town Board Meeting.
The story so far: the judge actually upheld Caruso, Ungerer, Siebold and company's law suit which would pretty much force Brodsky to sell his land running from the M-W High School all the way to ACE Farms. Gee I wonder who would be interested in buying it? (yeah, he doesn't own it all - Cornell and others own some, but if Brodsky isn't buying their land, they'll be selling to you know who too.)
So, Brodsky's only chance (some people say Woodbury's only chance) is if 4 out of 5 members of the Town Board vote to reinstate the laws that Judge Slobod knocked down.
Let's see- Im guessing that Lorraine and Gerri still vote yes. There's a good chance that Queenan will too. John is with Caruso all the way on this.
Sooooooooooo, who was that fifth board member? Oh, yeah. Michael Aronowitz. Formerly a starry eyed admirer of the "Brilliant One" (retch, gag) Ralphie Caruso - is Mikey a yes vote or a no vote?
Tune in on Thursday and see if your town goes bye bye before your very eyes.
But, say that you have wider horizons, that you've already written Woodbury off as a lost cause and the bright lights of Goshen have pulled you in. The big vote there this summer may well be the one that decides if Eddie gets to give KJ the keys to Gonzaga Park.
The County Legislature will vote on whether or not to they're willing to put KJ's water towers into the park. The vote comes this Thursday, July 6th, at 7 PM.
Say, why does that date sound familiar?
One way or another, the real fireworks shows this summer are coming two days after the fourth.

It's a matter of public record and her own supporters, G, Gianzero and P.Stabile, both under oath helped to have her charges dismissed.

Lorraine McNeill's vote should be disqualified and her resignation accepted as a Town Board member, effective immediately if's true what she is accused of about what happened on 6/1/2006 in a court of law.
She has violated the public trust and should not be a public official now or in the future.
Apparently Ralp Caruso and others who oppose her have been correct all along.
Supporting her is supporting the worse case of a corrupt and dishonest public official.

"Confirmed liar"...oh Charlie, you should learn not to use your signature phrases when posting as anonymous. By the way, was she charged with perjury, or did the judge just not believe her? There is a difference in a court of law you know. Judges are human beings too, and can get things wrong...why look at what a blunder Slobod made!

No, he just stopped listening to Caruso and made a wise decision for our town. Seems, there is a trend of late to stop listening to Caruso.
Or maybe he got a trip or a vaction???
ok here we go again. while you may or maynot like mike a. you have to give him credit for having the balls to publicly change his vote. I believe the first time he voted on this project he believed that he was doing the right thing. after all, the people who supported him and put him in office (don siebold/ralph caruso) told him it was bad. mike naively believed everything those people told him. after all they were his friends. but, like a child, he learned and grew up. he now started to think for himself. he realized that the only thing that was in the best interest of the town of woodbury was to vote for the project. the only thing that was in the best interest of his neighbors was to vote for the project. the only thing that would save this town was to vote for this project. I give him credit for having the nerve and courage to publicly change his vote and do what is the only thing he could have done. It really makes me laugh to hear people claim that he is now getting paid off. Mike A. doesn't need the measly pennies that people think he was getting. the town board isn't getting paid off. they are probably the only ones who are truly voting with the best interest of the town at heart. usually, people who play the game of taking money are the first to make the accusations about others taking money. take a look at ralph caruso and don siebold. they lie down with the big fish. I wonder what they have made on their campaign to get people to vote for kj. because by not voting for this project, you are voting for kj. senator larkin needs kj to stay alive. ralph caruso needs larkin to have power (power is money); don siebold needs ralph to collect his scraps from. see the big picture here. mike a. should be commended for cutting the cord.

The previous posting that was supposed to be written by John Keleman was probably not written by him. John Keleman is not that stupid or naive! Everyone knows that if you don't have it in writing, its not good. Everyone knows that part of the property was supposed to be "forever Green" when it was left to the Nature Conservancy and look what they did!!! So if the Nature Conservancy can flip land, this Keith Cornell can do the same thing!
After all, he is sitting on alot of money and who cares if he says that he "cares about the town"?
