Apologies

The Uncle had given up checking his mailbox. After all, it was almost always empty.

So, I apologize for allowing the three emails that were sent to go unanswered (OK, two email and one follow-up asking why the hell I hadn't responded).

I will attempt to be more dilligent.

And, as a reminder: cuzzincookie@hotmail.com

As to those email, one was from the Pieman. Seems that he went to the Village Board Meeting and heard someone complaining, get ready for it, that he had been lied to about what village taxes would be and about the fact that districts that existed under the town had to go bye bye with a village.

The Pieman attempted to explain that he and a whole lot of other folks (including those folks who were elected to the Village Board) had screamed themselves hoarse trying to get people to understand that Caruso, Burke and the other bozos who put out the "Preservation Kit" were full of crap (he said it more diplomatically in the email).

But this horse's ass at the Board Meeting was having none of it "They all lied!"

No, they didn't all lie.

Caruso, Burke, Mullooly, Meyers, Fuchs and Pedersen lied. Hold them accountable.

And then there's the moron who wrote this letter to the Record last year:

"I want to thank the residents of Woodbury for their overwhelming support of the creation of a village in the Town of Woodbury. I saw many people patiently waiting on line for a half-hour for their turn to vote to preserve the quality of life in our area.

"I would also like to thank the members of the Citizens for the Preservation of Woodbury and Chairman Ralph Caruso for all the hard work they did compiling and distributing the needed information in the Woodbury Preservation Kit. The information was straightforward and clear, answered many questions I had, explained the village creation process, dispelled some mistruths and identified specific criteria and goals that we should be heading toward to assure a continued quality of life we have all grown accustomed to.

"I know the Citizens for the Preservation of Woodbury and its members will continue to work for the support of the concepts they proposed, so those ideals can become reality. I am looking forward to a cooperative relationship between the new Village Board members and the present Town Board members, knowing they each represent the same constituents.

"Steven Musich
Village and Town of Woodbury resident"

Consider sending Mr. Mucus your appreciation and your tax bill.

I don't remember the Hunterites getting the cost of village right either or did they not mention it at all?

You seem to be putting guilt on individuals solely on association. You sure you aren't the Pieman in disguise. That's his modis opperendi (sic). Or...are you sharing his bed and are getting all this through pillow talk.

That's a vision I don't want to see.

The Community Party ACCURATELY stated that since the creation of our Village was so unique, there was NO WAY ON EARTH to propose a budget or to determine its tax ramifications. It was ralph caruso & the preservation party that so INNACCURATELY misled the residents...and not only about the cost, but also about things like the Fire District. When will that poor excuse for a human being stand up to the microphone and admit he was 150% WRONG?????

The worst part is that all along John Burke continued to back ralph and his madness...and continues to even now. Why can't we find someone to run against Burke in November and stop ralph once and for all???? Remember, keeping Burke in office is like having ralph himself there!

NOT!!

"GET READY" Here we go, this site is only a means of those who are determined to get JOHN BURKE out of office. John happens to be the best supervisor we have had in over twenty years....VOTE JOHN BURKE in the next election.

Anonymous said...

Oh please...after 1.5 years in office, tell me what he's done that is sooooooo wonderful??? The guy doesn't even use a computer, and from what I can see he likes to put out incorrect, misleading and often one-sided info to the public...lest you forget the letter of suppport he put in the now infamous Preservation kit and that scare tactic article about the Village budget being short due to the employee transfer (which ended up being totally bogus). What a bunch of horse crap that was in both cases.

John Burke never should have been IN office to begin with!!!

You tell them Conroy

Ya, like Sheila would EVER post on this website.
Having a hard time swallowing the truth pal??? Thanks to the deal Ralph has cut with John and the Democrats to NOT back a supervisor candidate or Lorraine, looks like we'll all be stuck with BIG John and some loser Democrat for a long time!

think of how much fun you could have if Bo got into office

doe anyone know who the other guy is?

Anonymous said...

As customary with the Dems, it's another no-name who hasn't bothered to attend any meetings but thinks he could run the Town.

But, since the Reps haven't endorsed Lorraine, I guess John could run with Bo and a wet noodle and all three could possibly win!

COME ON LORRAINE- START WALKING THOSE PETITIONS!!! Think of it, Bo could win by default!

Did Mike A drop out of the race?

Anonymous said...

You're right...I guess Mike A could squeak out a win over a wet noodle!

What's a Bo?

Hey Newbie- I think they're referring to Amidee "Bo" Haviland- the Democrat candidate who has twice run unsuccessfully for the Woodbury Town Board. He's on their committee as well. Nice enough guy and a true volunteer at heart...BUT he attends few public meetings, and when he does, he's often misinformed (perhaps by John Burke, Manny Manguel and Bob Donnelly). Seems like they (some of the Democratic committee members)use the poor fellow to fill tickets or voice their own "off-base" conclusions about things. Word has it that he's running for the same office for a third time. Either "third time's a charm" or "three strikes and you're out". Preferably it will be the later. (Don't take it personally Bo!)

Oh

Anonymous said...

..."a true volunteer at heart" What has Bo ever volunteered for since he moved here? To my knowledge he has never served on any board or committee.

Puzzled

There is more to volunteerining than just the political arena...I've been told he's actively involved in coaching youth sports, etc.

That's the problem with you single-minded twits...you are addicted to politics and can't think outside that suffocating little box. That's why we need more well-rounded, creative people in control to balance you obsessive powermongers. Your "my way or the highway" attitudes do nothing more than bully. Too bad we couldn't just wipe the slates clean...get rid of both the Republican and Democratic chairs, all those on the current Town Board and start fresh. Wouldn't that be nice???

Anonymous said...

AH Bo did you write that or did John help you?

Anonymous said...

Hey, I don't feel Bo should be in office, but give the guy a break, at least he is involved, which is more than YOU can probably say. At least he is making an attempt to make a difference. You're probably one of those bench dwellers who sits on your fat ass, barks orders and criticizes without lifting a finger to help. Like him or not, at least Bo is making a sincere effort. And in case you're too stupid to get it, I'm not Bo.

Anonymous said...

Then you must be Bo's wife, because I don't think their is a person other than his wife that would defend him. He is a rude, uninformed, unintelligent, shovel welding moron and let the truth be known, he can't win an election in this town because the voters in this town are to smart and can see him for what he is!

Anonymous said...

Then you would be referring to the same "smart" voters who put John Burke in office and who voted for the ridiculous Village?? No, I am far from his wife (wrong gender)...all I was trying to say is that Bo, like many of the less intelligent people who have been lead astray by the likes of Ralph Caruso, John Burke, Bob Donelly and Manny Manguel, probably started off with good intentions when he got involved, but has been fed a bunch of horse shit (by those listed above) and has been "pumped up" to run for office because they can't find anyone else who would believe their nonsense. I agree that he should NEVER be voted into office, but think he should be pitied more than despised.

You stated, "He is a rude, uninformed, unintelligent, shovel welding moron and let the truth be known, he can't win an election in this town because the voters in this town are to smart and can see him for what he is!" Why that sounds like more of an accurate description of Ralph Caruso!!

Question for UB: Going north on Rt 32 there was a junk dealer who was very against all the building in woodbury, they put up signs and went to all the meetings. Well I drove past there today and now they sell real estate?

Uncle Betty said...

I think you mean Mary Gross Ferraro. There is some reason to believe that she is of extra-terrestrial origin. What's your question?

Anonymous said...

It seems they are now a Real Estate Broker. The sign says Woodbury Falls Real Estate? Funny how they are now in the business.

Uncle Betty said...

Strange are the ways of the Gross Ferraro
