Last night the Woodbury Democratic Committee decided to endorse Woodbury Republican Committee Chair Ralph Caruso's hand-picked Perversion Party slate.

The Uncle maintains that there are damned few perfect people around to choose to lead Woodbury.
I have been, and no doubt will continue to be, at odds with occasional decisions made by both Stephanie Berean-Weeks and Mike Queenan.
But, despite some of the views presented by various anonymi, I think they are both honest people trying to do their best.
I also know that when Caruso gives you his blessing it comes with his expectation that you have turned over full rights to your soul, your brain and your vote to Ralphie.
With the single exception of John Burke, every one of Ralph's meat puppets has eventually broken free of the man (and earned his undying hatred for doing so). But some of them took longer than others to reach emancipation.
Now Ralph is trying to foist a new trio of Ralphlings onto Woodbury.
Be aware, be concerned and be voters.

That link is about the flier at Timber Ridge. I don't think the P Party had anything to do with that. John, Bo and the others are not part of that group, as far as I know. You can blame all you want, but intelligent people will only believe solid proof. So if you can't put up, shut up.

Let's do a head count. Manny and the Democratic Committee are controlled by Ralph. John, Bo and Carlton steal the election away from Lorraine and Mike A. who broke away from Ralph = Ralph controls the Town Board. Now Manny and the Democratic Committee endorses Ralph's hand picked puppets for Village Board (2 republicans and 1 conservative)= Ralph contols the Village Board. The final total, Ralph + Manny = Contol of Woodbury!

I am not sure why many of you think just because a candidate is pro business; right away they are on the take. What is worse having a Mayor who’s husband is a town employee that is hand picked for the Chief of Police or a Real Estate agent in a market when no houses are selling. Then you have Ralph boy with no experience other then what Ralph and Don tell him what to do. Now if he is like Mike A or Gerri and at some point will do what’s right for the Town / Village he may be the one to vote for. My issue is all three of them suck!

Common Sense- are you kidding me?? Queenan heads the Common Sense Party and wants to run the Village, yet his website doesn't even have a clue about when the Village was created! Check it out- under the FAQ's and the comprehensive plan question, Queenan boasts "The Town of Woodbury paid to create an updated plan and was ready to adopt it when the Village Board took over planning and zoning in JUNE 2006." Nice try Mike- YOUR Village hadn't even been voted on in June 2006!!!
For those who want the TRUTH, the Village Board didn't even take over planning & zoning until 6/07!!!

To the 10:10 poster I just went to their website, and you are right. Why would the the Common Sense Party tell such an obvious lie about when the village took over zoning and planning? If they lie to us on something like this that can be so easily checked, what other things are they lying to us about?
It is gone this morning. Isn't this what Ralph did, lie, get caught in the lie and make it go away? Queenan learned from the very best! I sure hope someone made copies of the website before that section was removed. Was it on their palm cards?

Oh, and as far as the Village meetings being televised using the Town's equipment- has anyone actually tried to watch the Town Board meetings on TV? Sounds like they're all talking with marbles in their mouths (or perhaps they really are??). At least the equipment the Village purchased is current and can be used to deliver the meetings over the computer-or here's a novel idea- perhaps interested residents can wander over to Village hall and watch it live!

Read the paper- Queenan and co got exposed for not doing their homework once again. That's probably why their website had erroneous info on it as well-can't believe they didn't even know when the Village was actually incorporated!! Guess he figures the voters are too dumb to question him, so it's nice to see him get slapped down.

If they don't, they are much wiser than the other two slates- both of whom apparently don't pay attention to detail, and allow lies and misinformation to run rampant on theirs!
But, attesting to what lowlifes SOME people can be, if you google Woodbury Community Party, and click on what appears to be information on their past campaigns, the Common Sense party has linked the article to THEIR website.
So there you have it- they REFUSE to pay attention to the DETAILS that count- instead they use their energies towards being underhanded and misleading. Now, isn't that typical of Queenan's politics???

I agree. Hunter GD is not to blame for this. The lies and misinformation came from the candidates and those running their campaign. They are the ones who should be held accountable.

I agree with the poster who said that if Queenan was disappointed, why did he vote yes! I know you have to take the lowest bid, but you should also be comparing apples to apples. There is no comparison between the two services other than the garbage gets picked up! And a no vote from Queenan, although it might not have changed things, would have sent the message on just how disappointed he really was. And how we know that he will truly represent us and vote his conscience. Cross him off my list!
