The Greatest Show In Town

See John Burke pretend that he never said what he said.

See John Burke pretend that he never did what he did.

See John Burke pretend that he never saw what he saw.

See reality torn asunder before your very eyes.

See John Burke in his best known role: the poor put-upon sweet-heart whom mean people treat terribly for absolutely no reason.

This is the role that won him the Supervisorship, the unquestioning obedience of Bobo and Charlatan, the naming of a school-building and a warm and loving reach-around from Ralph Caruso.

Admission is free

(if you don't count forking over your intelligence, your trust and your town)

Have to agree with a previous person that sadly most people in Woodbury don't know what is going on, even though it really does affect them in many ways.

Please keep getting information out there and let's hope more people read for themselves.

It has been a long time, years, that Burke and Caruso have been working together---at least since 2003. They share a lot, including common campaign tactics. The difference is one smiles with a full head of hair while the other is more sinister appearing, but both play the same game. Wake up people before it is too late.

If you are going to give out information, please let it be accurate. That article from the THR was anything but. It looks like more sour grapes from Johnny and company.

But considering who actually participates here on a regular basis, it probably is good therapy for all of you who still can't grasp reality that "your" people on the way out.

Yet again a member of the posse (Mr. Haviland?) claims that something isn't true, but gives no details, no facts, no specifics.

What was inaccurate in the article? The fact that it didn't mention that Bo claimed that he'd never heard of Uncle Betty and then claimed (incorrectly) that it was a chat room not a blog?

Come listen to Swiller bitch, moan and complain, and watch as nothing happens for the next two years while Swillerites and ralphlings exchange unpleasent comments on this bullshit blog!! nothing will happen!

Oh Amidee dear, do fill us in on what was "untrue" about the article?

My good friends who attended the Democratic meeting tell me that the THR got it exactly right. They also told me that a wicked little kitty must have gotten Mr. Burke's tale-telling tongue, because he uttered only one word all night. Much to my amazement, they also said that you seemed to be uncomfortable when Mr. Swiller stated that you had said nasty things about Mrs. Conroy and some imaginery kick-backs...they described the look on your face as somewhat of a "constipated contortion" and that you turned several shades of a purpley-red color.

Oh dear Amidee, you must either learn how to lie better, or resign before it gets too hot to handle, sweetie.

What will Bo Bo the monkey and Levin do when they're actually asked an important question about the Town come January? They don't have a clue about whats going on in the real world, let alone the Towns issues, and Burke will be of no help to them.

Board meeting tonight is cancelled.

Anonymous said...

Who cancelled the meeting?

Anonymous said...

Only two Board members were able to make it. What was the point of having it?

Anonymous said...

a meeting is not legal unless three board members are present for quorum

John the wonder man sits very calmly,
No reaction at all, is he balmy?
Thought at times to be very nice,
Is that so when he does the slice?
Is a man a good man when he's kind only to your face,
And is he kind when you have to replace,
the back that has been stabbed all the way through,
After all, isn't that what nice guys do?
