What did this woman do to anyone, besides being taken in by the sleeze balls Ralph and Don? They made her their fall guy to take all the heat at board meetings. To make a fool of herself on TV. And yes she is loyal to those people. But if I remember correctly, Ms Gianzero, Mr Queenan, Mr Aronowitz, Ms McNeill, you all followed that man around like little puppy dogs. Believing every word he said. An had there been a forum such as UB, you would have heard all the snickering, and jokes that were going around behind your back. I am not a friend of Ralphs posse, and I am not Carol Mullully. I voted for the sitting Town Board, except for Mike A and John Burke, and I voted for the entire Village slate. (I hope you are all true to your words). I find it a little odd that any one who disagrees with any Board member (Village or Town) automatically belongs to Ralph gang. How self absorbed are you all? Why don't you remember where you came from, and the mistakes you made by listening to Ralph. She is no different than any of you. Give her a break. Like I said you are all very lucky UB wasn't around when you were all sleeping with the enemy.

She sent out a postcard (or rather, allowed Ralph to send one using her name)just before last year's primary giving totally misleading information about Geri.
She got up at a number of public hearings and repeatedly lied about the master Plan.
She accused Sheila and various board members of a variety of non-existant slazy acts.
That's for starters.
Why is it that when lying women are reacted to with insults it's unacceptable (Carol, Bubbles). Is that a double-standard?

On the contrary- I have no sympathy for Carol Mullooly. She is fully aware of the company she keeps, and also quite aware of what a foolish spectacle she makes of herself...it's in using this ridiculous personna that people actually hear what she's saying. Every time she gets up and talks about the sign or the pond or the blah, blah, blah, people stop and say "oh there she goes aagain", so obviously people have heard her. Kind of like subliminal advertising in a strange overt way!

Who are you talking to. If you have something to say to a town board members or village board member, by all means tell them to their face, but don't post on here like the board members run Uncle Betty! That whole post was directed to the board, and who cares who you voted for. By sticking up for rump roast gets you no friends on Uncle Betty!

There are a lot of people who argue with the board about various issues who have nothing to do with Ralph. Mickey O'Brien is certainly outspoken and has no connection to Ralph.

Carol, on the other hand is a pure Ralphling. She gets her marching orders straight from Ralph and if you doubt that than you were in a coma the past few years.

Ugh...is there NO civility left in this town?

4 Woodbury officials target of lawsuit
By Chris McKenna

Times Herald-Record
November 14, 2006

Woodbury — A fiery Town Board critic who claims he suffered lasting injuries in an altercation outside Town Hall a year ago has filed a lawsuit against four town officials.

Charles Serra, a Democratic activist who has run unsuccessfully for town supervisor and county legislator, is seeking $2.35 million in damages against Councilwoman Lorraine McNeill, Councilwoman Geraldine Gianzero, Highway Superintendent Peter Stabile and police Chief Robert Kwiatkowski.

The incident took place Nov. 28, 2005, when Serra was entering Town Hall through a side door and passed the two councilwomen and Stabile, who were talking outside before a Town Board meeting.

McNeill later filed a police complaint accusing Serra of striking her with the door as he swung it open. Police charged Serra with menacing, but the misdemeanor was dismissed after a trial in Walden Village Court, where the case was moved to avoid a conflict of interest.

Serra claims in his lawsuit — filed in state Supreme Court last month — that McNeill slammed the door into his back and shoulders and caused unspecified injuries that forced him to "undergo medical procedures."

Serra accuses Gianzero and Stabile of giving authorities false accounts of the incident and faults the police chief for refusing to press countercharges against McNeill.

The town's insurance carriers have hired Richard Liberth, the town attorney, to represent all four Woodbury officials. Serra is being represented by Goshen attorney Michael Sussman, who also handled the criminal case.

Liberth declined comment yesterday, except to say that he would vigorously defend his clients and expects the court to vindicate them.

I was looking at the Photo News the other day and by the picture they used I believe we have the best looking Mayor in the county!

Anonymous said...

Yea, but will she think for herself or be manipulate like a puppet by the so-called CommUNITY heads behind the scenes. It scares me to think that Maria Hunter has decision making responsibility.

Anonymous said...

She will think for herself, the members of the Community Party are and were just the support team for the election. I am confidant that ALL members elected will think for themselves and do what is right for ALL the residents of Woodbury, not any particular group or person. If I had the slightest idea that they would be pawns, I would not have assisted with the Party. Trust me, they are a board with fresh ideas, thoughts and a true desire to do what is right.

Anonymous said...

Unlike past TOWN boards, I believe the new Village board understands that they now begin their work for ALL the people, NOT the CommUNITY PARTY. In the past elections, those endorsed by the REPUBLICAN COMMITTEE have been expected to be beholden to Ralph Caruso and Marty Stanise. Not so with the Village Board.

Mr. Provocation himself (Charlie Serra) has the nerve to sue? What, he doesn't think that all that ridiculous behavior as a member of the audience is going to come back to bite him??? Remember when he used to bring props to the meeting to bait Lorraine into saying something. Give me a break- Serra and Sussman should both be tossed out of court on their butts!

Anonymous said...

And made to pay court costs!

Anonymous said...

Doesn't Mr. Sussman have better things to do? I hope the judge assigned to the case has a sense of humor, since he's going to need it when watching how dumb Mr. Serra looks each time he gets up to the mic at all those old meetings. Mr. Serra will be lucky if he comes away with only a scolding about wasting the court's time on such a frivolous matter! And the last poster is correct- he should be made to pay the Town's court cost when he loses!

He's not suing the town...just individuals. It officially doesn't involve the town/village at all. The fearsome foursome will have to pay there own way. Hey...maybe Brodsky will pay for that lawsuit as well just like he did with the Article 78!!

Uncle Betty said...

Actually, they were at Town Hall on official business and the town insurance policy is paying the legal fees (as it should).

Anonymous said...

AS IT SHOULD NOT!!! If a fireman or ambulance driver gets in an accident, it is on them not the respective departments. If an appointed or elected official performs a personal action that is eventually brought to suit then its ON THEM. Since when is an alleged assault, and perjury an official town act. Oh John, cut that cord quick!!!

Can we all guess who posted this...."He's not suing the town...just individuals. It officially doesn't involve the town/village at all. The fearsome foursome will have to pay there own way. Hey...maybe Brodsky will pay for that lawsuit as well just like he did with the Article 78!!

Spend, spend, spend the taxpayers money you good ole boys!

And this sounds like the beloved guy who passes himeslf off as a legal, and now an insurance expert!!!... "AS IT SHOULD NOT!!! I guess a cord was hit with one of the previous posters that doesn't like the FACT that the four members named in the lawsuit are COVERED under the town's insurance.

Anonymous said...

C'mon Mr. Sussman, I have a lot respect for you but i can't believe you're actually entertaining this man. This guy complained about the town wasting money. Now look at him wasting it on purpose. This is obviously part of a personal vendetta and the only ones who are going to suffer are the hardworking taxpayers of Woodbury who have to pick up the tab. As a lawyer for the people Mr. Sussman should realize this.

To who ever posted the interesting little quip in regards to firemen or ambulance drivers getting into an accident; you are mistaken, if an operator of an emergency vehicle gets into an accident while on official business, he/she is indemnified by that agency and it's insurance provider, and to take it a step further, New york Satte law does not even allow the accident to appear on the operators driver abstract.

There is a following of a certain person who believe that they are all "experts" in all fields. They continue to spew false information, as they did when they coerced the majority to vote for the creation of the Village. They believe that lawsuits, frivolous or not, are a means to an end, which they have failed at over and over and over again. Unfortunately, one of the highest ranking officials of Woodbury also subscribes to this behavior, so as long as that is seen as the preferred method to "get things done", Woodbury residents will have to continue to pay through our noses to fund the legal and insurance fees of the budget.

Anonymous said...

Despite all this rhetoric, no one still has justified the use of town funds for these four. I repeat that the town should not have to pay for their indiscretions.

Anonymous said...

AHA!

"..Their indescretions..."

Who, over the past few years has been "indiscreet"? There is video footage verifying a certain person's insane behavior.

It just pisses you off that you are wrong again, Charlie.

it is truly unfortunate that Mr.
Serra has seen fit to sue these four town officials. there is no doubt that he has a personal hatred towards the town and its local officials. a prudent individual simply would avoid a situation that causes him aggravation. Not Mr. Serra, he seeks out trouble. I do not know what actually happened on the steps of the town hall but it occured during a town board meeting on town board property with town board officials. whether you like it or not they most definetely should be imdemnified. if mr. serra really wanted to sue them personally he should have followed them to walmart and stood in front of walmart's door. as a volunteer or elected official you put yourself out there for abuse time and time again. that is not part of the job. however, by nature of the job you are open to attack. imagine, if every time you put the garbage out in front of your own house you had a ton of people attacking you. this is what the board goes through. and, yes, it is part of the job. however, being subject to malicious lawsuits is not. and if it should happen by all means they should be indemnified. nypd covers there own, nyfd, ems and the like understand the role of their agents so they are covered. who would ever enter into community service if your own back was up against the wall for your dedication to the public. And yes, Mr. Serra's personal need to punish will cost all his neighbors bigtime. Please Mr. Serra, do your neighbors and the town a favor and stop this nonsense. why not enjoy your kids and go away on vacation

Anonymous said...

Isn't it strange that some people in Woodbury DON'T keep anything, like their house, cars, etc in their own names, just in case their irrational behavior towards others prompts them to be sued? It's almost like giving oneself a "license to harrass". I wonder if this holds true for Mr. Serra?

Anonymous said...

You can thank loony Lorraine Mc neil for this. If she'd would just keep her big mouth shut and ignore the old fart, crackpot Serra, he would would just go away.

Anonymous said...

You seem to be the type who would blame the girl for being raped...maybe if she didnt wear the short skirt...or was drunk...or walked down the dark alley alone. Serra needs to be held accountable for his own actions, its not other peoples fault that he is the one who is looney.

Anonymous said...

Using the logic that it was Lorraine's fault, then please explain what Mr. Kelemen and Mr. Galvin and Mrs. Conroy did that used to cause Mr. Serra's fits and foaming at the mouth? It seems that whoever disagrees with Mr. Serra risks putting themselves in the line of HIS fire...and any judge in his right mind should throw this out right away...and send Sussman and Serra the bill!

Anonymous said...

Like the horror movie of the same name, Charlie "Chucky" Serra has come back to torment the villagers again. Like the movie, if you beat him, stab him, toss him in the fireplace, he just comes back for more, only even more insane. Now he goaded McNeil into getting physical, which has been HIS GOAL ALL ALONG. He's been dying to bring out his ultimate horror weapon, SUSSMAN and LAWSUIT!!! BWUA HA HA HAAA!!
Attagirl Lorraine!

Anonymous said...

The previous poster assumes that Lorraine actually did it. But, really, I can't see it. We all know that this is bulls**t and just a chance for Sussman to make some headlines.

And the funny thing is, it is going to come back and bite him in the ass. Just watch...
