May The Turkey Be With You

And by turkey, the Uncle does not mean Caruso, Donnelly, Manny, or even Swiller, all of whom have been absent from the scene.

Last Friday the first village board meeting passed without incident.

Presentwere(amongothers and in random order) Don Siebold (and the Mrs.), CarolMullooly, theChief, Pete, Robin, Sandy, Maria (and the Mr.), the Conroyclan, the townboard(sans Aronowitz), Michale Amo (and the future Mrs.?),Ted Jones, DotMorris, and yours truely.

No fights, no name calling, no lawsuits.

Now that's reason enough to give thanks.

Happy Day All!

The Village Board will be holding another meeting on Monday. The Town Board agreed to let the Village Board use Town Hall for their meeting. So far it seems that the Boards are getting along like promised. I fear what will happen when that's not the case.

It was obvious from the results of the election that most of us liked the direction the town board was going in, and we want the village board to continue in that direction. They all need to work hard to accomplish what needs to be done. I hope when it comes to zoning and planning the boards have joint meetings (even if one of the boards cannot cast their vote) because the input of 10 is better then just five. Maybe nothing will get overlooked.

Just got the word; Monroe/Woodbury football lost the title up in Syracuse in overtime 27-26 It came down to the kicker (the poor kid is only a soph.) And he missed. But Auburn beat us overall. Great season. Great coaches. Great kids

Actually, Auburn's kicker missed his extra point attempt in overtime as well, but there was a roughing the kicker penalty and he got a second chance and hit it.

Lets get something straight, it is not just about Ralph Caruso, Bob Donnelly, Don Seibold and crew. It is not just about personally disliking them, it is about the damn evil that they represent. We have to keep aware because they will NOT go away, as shown by the frantic scribbling of Don at the first village board meeeting, by the behavior of these characters and things they say in public, by the letters submitted to the papers warning the village officials (T. Sullivan, relation to Dancin' Hank?). They are the purest form of self serving evil!!!

We must keep on our toes.

It's funny. When someone writes in this blog about something else about this community (M/W football)which is historically a record breaker. Some pale skin, limp wrist, soft sissy tells them "to get a life".I bet you thank God for the Anonymous identity, you fag.Thank you CRUSADERS for another great season. You did this part of the world PROUD

I know anyone gets hounded down for posting anything-non Woodbury on here. But, what an embarrassment out County Republican Chairman (and friend of our equally embarrassing Town GOP Chair) has made of himself yet again....

Orange County's GOP chief mocks new state party leader

By John Milgrim
Ottaway News Service
November 28, 2006

Albany — Orange County's outspoken GOP chairman yesterday ripped into Sen. Joe Bruno's choice to lead the party as too old and a loser, and he wouldn't rule out his own run for the post.

Bruno, the Senate majority leader and New York's most powerful Republican, last week backed Nassau County's GOP chairman, Joe Mondello, to lead the battered state party.

"There isn't anybody behind the scenes that's excited about Joe Mondello being chairman," said Bill DeProspo, Orange County's Republican chairman and a close ally of lame-duck Gov. George Pataki.

DeProspo, not counting himself out, named several candidates who he said would make a better state leader, including Niagara County GOP Chairman Henry Wojtaszek and Erie County's Robert Davis, who already declined the post.

DeProspo's comments reflect a continued rift between Pataki loyalists and Bruno's arm of the party. Until the election, Pataki was the de facto head of state Republicans and often was at odds with Bruno. But with Pataki out at the end of December, Bruno becomes the state's most powerful Republican.

DeProspo said the party needs young, energized talent considering the Democrats' 5-to-3 enrollment edge and given the beating the GOP took Nov. 7.

"I don't think a bunch of 70-year-old white guys are able to do that," DeProspo said, speaking of Mondello's key backers. "I don't think anybody who is approaching 70 years of age (Mondello is 68) wants to get into a car and start driving from Buffalo to Montauk Point."

Besides, DeProspo continued, Mondello has his own record of failure recently in Nassau County. Government in Nassau, a former GOP stronghold, has slipped solidly into Democrats' hands.

State Republicans vote for a new leader in Albany on Thursday to replace outgoing Chairman Stephen Minarik, a Pataki appointee.

"Chairman Mondello has been heartened by the support he's received from the vast majority of the county chairmen he has spoken to over the last couple of weeks," Mondello spokesman Tony Santino said.

__________________

In my opinion...Mr. DeProspo should not be calling anyone a loser but himself. Mr. Mondello has had loses but, Nassau's enrollment has been sliding towards the democrats. There was also a great deal of corruption and inept leadership in Nassau's county government, which led to losses.
What is Mr. DeProspo's excuse? Since he has been chairman, Republicans have the thinnest majority in the history of the county legislature, the most Democrat Town Supervisors, the entire county soon to be represented by a Democrat in Congress, and a complete breakdown of party operation. The County Committee does nothing...it seems...except get Eddie Diana elected and make sure Mr. Deprospo's wife has a judgeship. Mr. DeProspo has probably now cost Orange County, potentially, a place in the state party by bashing Joe Bruno. Whether you like Bruno or not he is now the GOP boss, and he controls the purse strings in the State Senate. Orange County will be dead last in getting any money now. We'll maybe not, thanks to Bill DeProspo democrats are now gaining control here, so maybe Spitzer will send us money.

I heard that Bill Deprospo wants to open a school for public speaking and relationship building.

Why not ask Geri Gianzero. She worked as his lapdog for a year. She seems to be very quiet when asked about her year spent working for the County Republican Committee and Mr DeProspo.
Caruso got her the job, but she left in a hurry! What spooked her and why isn't she talking?

Anonymous said...

"..She worked as his lapdog for a year....but she left in a hurry!"

Since when is a year leaving in a hurry?

And calling her a lapdog shows nothing but disrespect and makes any reasonable person question your comment.

Anonymous said...

Did she ever get another job? I was told she does not work anymore is that true?

Anonymous said...

No, of course not, she's living on the hush money, and Mike Queenan gets paid off by the National Association of Realtors and Lorraine is an international money launderer andMike A sells porno and everyone else working for the town or village who doesn't answer to Caruso is completely evil and only John Burke is honest and I, for one, am sick and bored with the Ralphlings tearing down all the people on his enemies list.

Anonymous said...

what do you mean Don was a rat. Are you saying he worked for internal affairs? that would explain everything about him and his character.

Anonymous said...

Oh there are many little things about Don that will surprise and entertain our residents. They will come out all in good time......
muhwhahahahaha!

Anonymous said...

Yes, Don made his contribution to society in IA.

Anonymous said...

Now I get it. In Patent Pending Revisited the Uncle wrote: "And, off in his keep, humming "shoo fly don’t bother me" the mad Sheriff of Nottingham: Don the Ankle Biter."

A shoo fly is an I A cop.

Neato!

Lets just say whether IQ man was in IA or not, perhaps IA should have been looking his way. Rumor has it that there was something ready to bubble to the surface and for some reason IQ man was able to "retire quietly".

But that is just a rumor and knowing the IQ man's personality, it just couldn't be true, could it?

I'd save that for the next election if I were you.

We are.
