I have been told that there is a second page to the phony KJ letter.
The second page does not sound as if it came from Caruso.
I am convinced that it did not come from the Community Party either.
That leaves the question, who put it out?
Whoever did is trying to screw with our election.
I urge voters to avoid any suppositions based on the letter without more information about it.

So far I haven't been able to find one person who has actually seen the letter. I've spoken to two who have seen faxes of it.
Was it ever distributed?
Does it really exist?
Is this an elaborate hoax by Szegedin to mess with our election?
The best advice is to refuse to allow this letter (if there is one) to have any influence over your vote.
To the sick Preservation person who tore into Swiller for acually saying that he believes that neither their party or the Community Party put out the KJ flyer--- you even criticize a person who says he beleives you are not responsible. It just shows what a little insider group you are. You seem to believe that anyone not part of your group is no good or not too smart because they fall for what you do. Swiller put his name on his post and said he did not beleive you did it---and you mock him. How very sad that you are so angry, mean and short sighted. Hope people notice and realize that anyone who is not an insider in your group is subject to such treatment.
Thanks Jonathan, for sticking up for what Ocean claims to stand for (despite assumptions otherwise), and having the decency to state that neither party may be involved in that KJ letter.

The people of Woodbury should thank their luck stars that they have someone as honest and courageous as Jonathan Swiller.
Everything Swiller says or does is out in the open and he signs his name, which is more than can be said by his detractors.
I suspect that those weasels who attack Jonathan are actually intimidated by his intellect and willingness to speak up when he sees corruption.

As I write this, the polls have or are about to close. The count will be made. A winner will be declared. The post election process will commence. Will it be one of cooperation? Will be one of checks and balances? Or will it be one of continuing animosity between two factions within this commutity that have contrary ideologies on what is right for Woodbury. Hopefully not the last.
Whatever the outcome, it is time to consolidate our hopes and goals. It is time to stop the bickering. It is time to heal and have the local governments) to once again serve the people and not just those sitting in seats of power within their little world.
I hope that the people of Woodbury came out to voice their opinion at the polls and not just a select few that fueled this melodrama in the first place for the last three years.

My work here is done, but yours has just begun. You will have a long battle to protect your new village from overdevelopment and attack from both inside and outside, but I feel that tonight demonstrates that you are up to the challenge. Remember, your greatest liability will always be your own apathy. Stay involved, stay focused, and don't forget the lessons learned today.
Start a committee to interface with Kiryas Joel and your KJ sympathizing residents. They aren't going anywhere and the best thing that you can do is to learn as much as you can from each other and to be on as good terms as is possible.
Watch the watchers. Watch Caruso, he's not done yet, I guarantee it. Moreover, watch Weeks and her crew along with Burke and the old gang, they hold the power of life and death over Woodbury. Also, don't vote for Larkin again, he's helping fund your ambitious neighbors.
