I didn't mean to create such a contraversy. Its just easier, when some blogs go on for days and days to know when they started. Sometimes i'm away, and wonder when it all started thats all. I wasn't trying to identify people. I'm a little confused on that one.

My question above was not aimed at you. I thought your request was a pefectly reasonable one.
Rather, I was asking why someone would feel that printing the date was problematic and how doing so would somehow unmask the multitude of anonymi.
My response was not to you dear Uncle. Rather to the blogger with the date issue. I too am somewhat at a loss as to the potential unveiling or unmasking of an identity, simply by entering a date.
Bo Bo, since you only want genuine questions, how about some genuine answers? If you would just answer the questions, they would stop being asked. Make sense? Don't stand on morality and ethics now! That ship has sailed, and you jumped overboard. Only you don't have a life jacket.
So Bo, you, a retired officer in the Army voted NO for a tax break for Cold War Veterans?? I wonder how many veterans wasted their vote on you? I'm sure you'll be getting well deserved flack for that one!
To the person using the "slick" comment, you're way to easy, should we pin point who you are? or where your sending your message from, should we identify, you, who you work for, what color vehicle you drive or type, trust me, You don't need this headache, don't push it!

Looks like Sweet Pea has been reconditioned and brought back into the fold.
I hope the video from the latest town meeting is posted soon. People should see Bo voting against the Cold War Veterans tax break and also see Mickey O'Brien asking John if he ever tought civics and government classes. John told Mickey that he refused to answer.

I think the bloggers are running scared. Who ever made the threat of finding out IP addresses really hit home. I think its a shame, Ralph can say anything and people will belive it. Well there goes the next election. Congrats Ralph.
Why are people so scared to stand up and identify themselves if they think they speak the truth. It's easy to bash others, call names, and ridicule what seems popular to ridicule if you can remain anonymous. I notice only two people consistently identifying themselves. I may not agree with them, but at least they have the gumption to ID themselves. So, who cares if someone finds out who you are? Have you said or done anything illegal? Like I have said before, Woodbury is comprised of wimps.

I can understand at least some of the fear, from what I've heard of longstanding political grudges and threats Caruso has thrown around against various departments in the past and fears of reprisals. I'd like to see more openeness around here, but I'd rather have people who actually have something substative to say be anonymous than be silenced. Less sympathy for people signing on just to talk about dicks, but what can you do.
There are some safe web-use strategies out there, but the internet is never the safest of places. Emails can even be intercepted, accounts broken into and such. Going to drop the Unc a message about this though, I've got a few things I want to check.
Perhaps Burke and company have been taking lessons from Belichick...cheat, get caught, and still get to keep your WIN!
Belichick goes on like nothing happened, accepts the Lamar Hunt trophy like he's a perfect angel, and NFL fans are supposed to just forget the whole thing ever happened and believe that the Patriots are perfect. NOT!!
