Funny that a previous poster is comparing Potvin's influence to Ralphs likability.
Potvin is running things in between her temper tantrums. She will have a tantrum and complain until people are so sick of it that they give in or they just are too afraid, for some reason, to stand up to her. She is a bully just like Ralph. She has also done a fine job of convincing everyone that she is the only one who could do the clerks job. (Amazing how everyone bought that.)In a way, you wouldn't mind if she was halfway nice, but she isn't really, except when she puts on her phony act and smiles like she is so sweet when she is not.
Desiree has a hissy fit, But don't mistake her for a nervous twit, She is definitely no fool, She uses her fits as an effective tool! Everyone complains but no-one stops her fit, She carries on with her verbal sh*t, Town and Village that's the deal, Can't you see she is the big wheel? FOIL something and you'll get it quick, If she's in the mood and not riding her broomstick! I don't like to disparage witches, but Potvin is the queen of the bit@*es!

OK, so Desiree isn't in her office all the time and she doesn't always treat people respectfully and she is getting paid twice to do the same job, what's it to you?

To the last poster, it takes a "beach" to know one. Obviosly you do not get along with Desiree. That's your problem. I have never experienced the side of Desiree that you have written about. You don't have to vote for her the next time around. That's your right. As far as her "running" things, Desiree makes it her business to be as informed as possible to assist her colleages...nothing more. Don't hate her because you don't have the same drive that she has. AND NO...I AM NOT DESIREE OR A RELATIVE.
If you have not seen her "beach sessions", you obviously have not been around her for more than five minutes in a year, no wait, a month; oh heck, a day. Not a day goes by when she doesn't have a "session" regarding someone or something. And ANYBODY that has had to do business with her has been subjected to HER RUDENESS at one time or another. So, please, get your head out of the sand.
