Meanwhile, In Another Part Of The Universe

Congress has just cut funds for research into traumatic brain injuries (one of most devestating injuries suffered by our troops in Iraq) from 14 million to 7 million. At the same time they have voted 20 million to be used for a (future) celebration of the successful completion of the wars in Iraq and Afganistan.

Just thought that you'd want to know.

And WE need another layer of government???

Look! Up in the sky. Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No! It's an absurb retort that has no correlation to Unc's blurb at all!!

You must be a regular here.

Duh....I get it's meaning...it's in relation to the Village, you moron. It's bad enough that the Feds spend money foolishly...we get the wrong people in for the Village (ie-Ralph and company) and the foolish spending will be multiplied...get it now?

Anonymous said...

What's not to get...the correlation is that our Fed gov't spends foolishly, and now that we have another layer of gov't in the new Village, we put the wrong group in there (Ralph and co) and there will be even more foolish spending...like we really need that, right? You probably scored very low on the english part of your SAT's, right??

How come Ralphs Preservation packet said that "forming a village will stop annexation". But in his letter in the paper last week he says " I will do everything I can to stop annexation". I thought the Village stopped that? Everyone who voted yes for the village should be good and pissed off right now. You were lied to. Right to your face. If it were me i'd be outside his front door with everyone else that voted yes for the village and tell him exactly what I thought of him. He's a lying piece of shit.

His packet also said zoning will not be changed, last week his comment in the paper said he will change zoning, fire district would not be changed, but by law there cannot and will not be a fire district within a village, 84 dollars per year in taxes, yet no mention of liability insurance, lawyers fees etc. etc, get the tone here? Lies, lies and more lies. Same old Ralphie boy. That's why he was a one time board member, and could never win again. Ask him about the early eighties when he wanted to abolish the local police and dispatch. And that's a FACT!!!!!

Oh,my god! Ralph Caruso wanted to get rid of the police dept. I hear our police department is one of the most highly regarded in Orange County. What idiot would want to get rid of a quality organization? With all the horrors going on in this world, and lately against children, it makes me wonder what kind of person Ralph is? It sounds to me like he is way out of touch with the wants and needs of the residents. Now I see why he has not won an election in two decades.

Why has Ralph and the Preservation Party been so eerily quiet as of late? He's got something up his sleeve. Anyone seen them campaigning? Or is it true that they're vampires and only come out at night? That would explain the mysterious delivery of the Preservation packet before the sun rose!!!

I understand that the Preservation Party has revamped their kit and changed some of their answers to important questions like ANNEXATION....why didn't you tell the truth from the very beginning Ralph??? We all need to hold Ralph accountable for his continuous lies by NOT voting for him. He appears to be a man that will say whatever he needs to in order to get elected. Perhaps the word "preservation" is not so much meant for Woodbury as it is for Ralph's political career. But guess what Ralph, you can't preserve something you never had to begin with!!!

Don't worry every dog has his day!

On another note:
I went to the Community Party fundraiser on Thursday night. What a great turn out! I saw alot of concerned Woodbury residents there, much like myself. I'm glad there is alot of people that do not buy into the Preservation party's lies.

Hey, is anyone going to publish how Pedersen sued OUR TOWN over a street name? How much did this assinine lawsuit cost us the taxpayers? Great guy to run for publi office.

Anonymous said...

That old man Pedersun(sued over a street name? How pathetic was that? It must have been reeeaaalllllyyyy important in Pederson's mind. This guy Penison obviously has a personal agenda and an axe to grind. On a good note, If $$Pedersen$$ is elected it sounds like he is already very experienced at creating financial burdens for the new village$$$$$

Anonymous said...

That's minor in relation to how much $$$ Ralph and his agendas have already cost...first we had to defend the lawsuit from KJ regarding the Village petion (thanks Ralph), then we had to defend the article 78 suit from Don Siebold and company re: the 5 zoning laws(of which Ralph was 100% behind)and then the cost of creating the Village (thanks again Ralph). Now, assuming just for a minute that Ralph does get in, his FIRST whim is going to be to repeal the 5 new zoning laws...if ANYONE thinks for one second that we won't be facing another HUGE, uninsured lawsuit, THINK AGAIN. So, if you are of the mind to pull Ralph's lever, realize that you're also tightening the noose around your own financial neck, because it would cost each and everyone of us DEARLY!!!

Sorry...that should have been PETITION

Anonymous said...

Dose anyone know the exact amount of signatures that each of the parties running for this village election received on their petitions??

By the UB back to your original post. Congress has not yet cut the funding as you stated. Money for the brain injury center is being considered as part of the pending veterans’ funding bill that is tied up in negotiations between the House and Senate. Work on that bill has been put off until after the November elections because lawmakers took a recess last week to campaign.

I hate to interupt this intelligent conversation with actual facts.

Just thought that you'd want to know.

Anonymous said...

that is correct!

Anonymous said...

UB- So now that the latest version of "the kit" is out on the streets, any chance of you posting here? I can't seem to get my hands on a copy.

just go to your bathroom. roll out some TP. wipe your ass with it and you will have your hands on it.

Where is Week's and company's toilet paper??

Anonymous said...

The Weeks and company slate is running their campaign on pure facts. So dont waste your time looking for "Their TP" you wont find it!

From what I've seen of and heard from the CommUNITY Party slate, they have done their research on EVERY level. They seem to be genuine in their responses, and do not PRETEND to know more than they actually do. They have also promised to get the right answers if they don't currently have the information. It's a hell of alot more than Mulooly and Fuchs offered when they were out getting signatures! I can't wait to see if Ralph allows his candidates to actually answer questions in a debate session.

Anonymous said...

dose anyone know how many signatures each of the parties running for this village election got??

Anonymous said...

I don't understand all of the TP talk, I usually just sit on the Caruso, take a Siebold and then wipe my Muhlooly.

New to the blog,

What is the latest on the debate if any at all?? I would also be interested in the # of signatures each pary recieved to make the village ballot!! Thier is a lot of trash talk on this blog. dose that mean that Caruso and company have the upper hand?? If so that is scarrey!!

Are you aware that the Orange County Shooters have officially endorsed Ralph Caruso for over a year now? I don't see how we could vote into office anyone with such a callous attitude towards gun control when there have been at least 3 (I think there are more I'm forgetting about) school shootings since the start of this school year. The voters need to know about this.

That official endorsement is listed right here by the way: http://www.ocshooters.com/newsletters/05/06.htm

I was unable to find an email address anywhere on either of your blogs. Please post SOMETHING so that we can send in tips. In fact the only reason I commented here off topic was because I couldn't find another way to get in touch with you.

I just went to the http://www.ocshooters.com/newsletters/05/06.htm website. That was an endorsement when he ran for OC Legislator against Roxanne Donnery. We all know what happened - he was CARUSOFFIED (he Lost) just like he will be again on November 2nd, 2006.
