In an interview in yesterday's paper with John Burke he claimed that his win was based on the zone change the town board adopted the thursday before. If that were so how come the rest of his team (Darlene,Bo, Hanky Spanky, and Slimey Caruso lost)? Some lost big. Darlene was the only one that had respectable numbers, but she had both sides supporting her. She should have won! Sorry John your theory doesn't add up.
To add to that...if that WERE the case, how did Geri get in, when she too voted for the change in zoning?? And what about Roxanne kicking Ralph's ass all over Woodbury and Highlands?? She didn't utter a word about the project, since once again folks, the county can't do anything about the Town Board's zoning decisions. However, Ralph still made it an election issue...guess it back fired, huh Ralph?? As for Johnny boy, let's see how thick his skin actually is now that he's sitting on the other side!
since the guy in the picture is a private citizen, publishing statements such as "a stain developed on the front of his trousers," constitutes an easily winnable libel suit as you are spreading false & malicious rumors.
