Too bad they saved those answers for the computer on-line paper readers, and they didn't get published. The long and short of it is that Ralph Caruso wants it ALL ways- as ZBA chairman, he demands that David Hasin (yes the one who Ralph now has running for judge, in the "knife in Galvin's back" maneuver)write a letter to David Church, OC Planner, stating that the county needs to stay out of Town business...next breath, Caruso and Stanise are demanding Roxanne Donnery take a position on the rezoning issue. Wisely, she remains mum since it IS NOT a county issue. Ralph continues making it an election issue, and goes so far as to USE David Church to his advantage this time. Then does a complete FLIP-FLOP in his answer you posted, going back to his cry that the county should have nothing to do with the rezoning or business of the town. THAT is what we can expect if RALPH CARUSO is elected. He will do what is "right" for Ralph Caruso and Bill Larkin, NOT the Town of Woodbury!!
Caruso has a history of this behavior. Tells Woodbury NOT to accept county grant money, but in his campaign, accuses his opponent of NOT bringing in county grant money! Talking out both sides of his mouth???

The RULES say that the county planner may offer guidance, when asked, NOT determine the zoning laws or changes, as that is up to ONLY the Town Board. That has ALWAYS been her position.
