WHO THE HELL LEFT THE SINK RUNNING?

The Uncle goes away a couple of days and the place nearly washes away! Sheesh!

Well I see you all have been busy. I’m still catching up on the comments, though some seem a tad repetitive (yes Workers, I’m looking at you).

The biggest hoot are the letters in the photo news. My fave has to be the one listing all of Ralph’s good points, signed by Mike Erroneous. Anyone who read Mike’s Blog before he removed all of his own writing knows that the poor man is illiterate. Ralph had to have written the letter for him.

The image of Ralph sitting there in his Dr. Dentons typing "Over the past few years I have met many people in the political arena, but I still have not met a person who can match up to the amount of energy, enthusiasm, vision and drive that Ralph Caruso has." Gee Ralph, you left off handsomest and most modest.

Almost as funny was that Ralph "is respected by local, county and state officials." Oh, yeah, Ralphie, in a pig’s eye!

Well, the Uncle has things to do and people to do them to.
And remember, if don’t have anything nice to say about someone, say it here.

Uncle Betty:

Glad to see you are back. I was getting worried that you had been kidnapped by Ralphie and were being held hostage and tortured in Siebold's basement.

Yeah you are right about Arnowitz and the letter. If he wrote it it would be.

Me like Relph
Ralph is Good
He is me freind
Vote for me freind.

OK Anonymous # 1, you wanna accuse someone of being selfish, vain, stupid, lazy or inept be my guest. But you want to accuse folks of felonies, put up some hint of proof or your silence makes it obvious that you are one of Ralph's lying hatchetmen - probably Siebold.

I thought that Seibold's letter to the editor addressed the point that ROXANNE (as her sign says ) didn't help us here in Woodbury but helped her own town in that she voted for the current tax revenue sharing formula ? She only shows up here in Woodbury( at town board meetings ) when she's up for election or there's a parade in town and she wants us to believe she's here because she cares . ( what a pile of BS) .She's in for a surprise this Nov. as the voters have finally figured her out .!

You know maybe UB is the man with the White Hair who sits in the back.

Ha, ha, ha...ya, Roxanne (Mrs. Donnery to you) only shows up when she's up for election. Go look at the records loser...she's been attending our board meetings on a frequent basis since Jay was supervisor! And while your at it, see how many other meetings she attends on a REGULAR basis and speaks on behalf of the needs of Woodbury...Legislative Meetings,SE Traffic Task Force meetings, public hearings for the casinos...where has Ralphie boy been if he was soooo concerned. Hum, that's right, sitting on his throne behind the CLOSED door meetings of the Republican committee(but don't forget, Ralphie Boy is all for "open" government, as long as you know the secret handshake). Oh ya, and gathering in the shadows with his newly formed little caucus to discuss strategies. The only surprise that will be coming in November is that Roxanne is going to compile even bigger numbers than the last time she kicked Ralph's ass...proving once and for all that you actually have to WORK for the position, not ride in on Big Bad Bill's coattails!

UB could be all sorts of people, but one thing UB is is slow. The Uncle took hours to notice that, with only a few weeks til the election, Ralph and his Night Crawlers have entered their End Game. In End Game they begin to pull out all the stops and become slimier and slimier (see the Mullooly Post Card).
Uncle's rules shift during End Game to accomodate Ralphie and the Night Crawlers. When Ralphie gets a little too slimy, Uncle will delete and replace with an explanation such as "Libelous posting making doubtful claim that Don Siebold was voluntarily castrated in 2002 as part of a plea bargain following his being discovered at the James Motel with a 14 year-old-boy has been removed." or "Unproven charge that State Senator Bill Larkin regularly receives enverlopes stuffed with money from Gedalye Szegedin has been removed."
After all, the Uncle must have some standards.

Something doesn't add up...a few yearsfor months Roxanne suggested to our Town Board to take advantage of the Park Grant monies offered by the county. Each time, Mr. Caruso got up and scolded Roxanne for mentioning it, and told the board to dismiss such a suggestion since it would mean our parks would be opened up to the general public. Now, ironically, it's "okay" for Gilda to apply for a $2,000 Wal-Mart grant for our parks?? It's ok from Wal-Mart, but NOT from the county? Doesn't make sense, UNLESS, Mr. Caruso's threats were just that, THREATS!!

Does Uncle Betty know anything about Horney, uh, Honey Bernstein in her race for County Legislator?
I seem to recall that at the hearing in Goshen, just prior to the 20-1 vote condemning the KJ pipeline, she spoke at length criticizing those who opposed the pipeline, implying that if you didn't support this project you were an intolerant, bigoted anti-semite.
That considered, along with the fact that Goshen has had astronomical increases in taxes under her watch as Town Supervisor seems to make her uniquely UNQUALIFIED to represent anyone.

Honey doesn't know how to read a watch. At that legislative session she spoke at length, seemingly ironically, so that she could make her point at the end, but she ran out of time and looked real, real foolish.

Perhaps Horney's infatuation with the pipeline has something to do with her being in the real estate business. Never saw a development she didn't like.
She'd be an easy mark for anyone wanting to develop anything.
Can you say fox watching the hen house?

Re: Roxanne- anonymous #2 & #4- CHECK YOUR RECORDS. Roxanne Donnery has been sitting in the Town Board meeting audiences since Joan Caruso (NO RELATION TO SIR RALPH)was supervisor- that was BEFORE she was ever elected to the legislature! Looks like SHE is the REAL DEAL. It's apparent she did her homework before she even ran for office! Where was Ralphie boy then?? When you have NO record to stand on, except for being a controlling ego maniac, I guess you have to manufacture things!

Burke and Reveille
It's always refreshing to come across people in this world whose lives are dedicated to helping others. Two such people are John Burke, Democratic candidate for supervisor, and Darleen Reveille, Democratic candidate for councilwoman in the upcoming Woodbury Town Board election.
Before retiring, Burke spent more than 30 years in education, teaching and guiding our most precious asset, our children. As a 36-year resident of Woodbury, Burke has been an outspoken advocate for the people of this town and the environment. He also brings with him many years of managerial and budgetary experience.
Reveille has spent 26 years as a critical-care nurse and for 18 years during that time has been involved in municipal government as a public health official. She works with government officials on the local, county and state levels.
For once, let's elect people who put others' needs above their own. The environment and overall quality of life in Woodbury must be preserved by protecting our zoning.
We must make a change in leadership before Woodbury is lost forever.

Maybe Bo dont know it is really the team of Burke, Bubbles and Dancin Hank

PS-In a town of close to 10,000 people the only person you can find to write nice things about you and your running mate in a letter is a relative?? C'mon!!

He only had a few hits in the 1950s and early '60s, but as Bo Diddley sang, "You Can't Judge a Book by Its Cover." You can't judge an artist by his chart success, either, and Diddley produced greater and more influential music than all but a handful of the best early rockers. The Bo Diddley beat is one of rock & roll's bedrock rhythms, showing up in the work of Buddy Holly, the Rolling Stones, and even pop-garage knockoffs like the Strangeloves' 1965 hit "I Want Candy." Diddley's hypnotic rhythmic attack and declamatory, boasting vocals stretched back as far as Africa for their roots, and looked as far into the future as rap. His trademark otherwordly vibrating, fuzzy guitar style did much to expand the instrument's power and range. But even more important, Bo's bounce was fun and irresistibly rocking, with a wisecracking, jiving tone that epitomized rock & roll at its most humorously outlandish and freewheeling...

Gee, isn't that selfless server of others the same Darleen (thanks for spelling Bob) who said at Town Hall "I don't care about Woodbury, I care about my house"?

And just think what will happen if she wins? I am rooting for Mike and Gerri to save us from these losers!
