Morally Bankrupt Burke

......................................................................................................................................

Morally Bankrupt Burke? Isn’t that a little harsh?

Hmmmmm, no. Whether it was Burke, or Manny Mangual or Carlton Levine or even Ralph Caruso, whoever came up with Woodbury “Community” Team was out to confuse voters.

The Community Party is backing McNeil and Aronowitz. Not Burke, Haviland and Levine.

But maybe they’re saying that they have the backing of the community, or are working for the community or just like the idea of a community. It’s a word in English. Nobody owns it.

If that were the case, why is the word in quotation marks? Quotation marks mean that the word or phrase is a direct quote or is translated or is being given a special meaning.

But there’s nothing illegal about using the word.

Right. Just as there would be nothing illegal about a Republican calling himself the “Democratic Choice” and claiming that he meant he was in favor of democracy.

It’s not illegal, it’s merely corrupt.

Perhaps this is in lieu of the midnight delivery of nonsense attached to our garbage pails! Hey, since you can't win honestly, you may as well try deception, right!! I wonder which one of them had that bright idea???

So let’s give John the block vote so he can reduce every service, cut the Parks budget and never allow any commercial development that will lower the taxes in Woodbury! Trust me out of the four running none of them are that smart but Aranowitz has done a few things. McNeil is very good a taking credit for everyone’s else’s work , Haviland already said he will cut spending which means your roads will no longer be plowed along with cutting of the Parks and Library. Levine still thinks the town does zoning, so do I need to say more John should let him know that is under the Village now!

Fiscal accountablility in ad in paper? Why then give himself a raise (published in THR this week) when his responsibilities are diminishing with Village taking over more parts of the government? Makes sense to me. I wish I could lose less responsibility at work and make more money!

Meant to say more responsiblity--

LOOKS LIKE YOU ARE STARTING TO PANIC... YES SWILLER YOU SEE THE OUTCOME OF THIS ELECTION .. VOTE YOUR PARTY LIKE A GOOD DEMOCRATE.. YOU KNOW THEN YOU CAN SAY YOU VOTED FOR THE WINNERS SEE YA!!!

Now Father John is showing his true colors. Didn't get his team into the Village spots so he is going to constantly complain about what the Village does. Shortly he won't have anything better to do. I hope the Village takes everything it can to make him look like an even bigger boob! Nice pic in the paper. Maybe he can get a job as an impersonator for Jay Leno!

"He said he would also use his position to vent disapproval with the decisions of the recently incorporated Village of Woodbury."

Is this what we're paying him for? The supervisor and town board have the gall to give themselves pay raises when they're work load is decreasing??? Are you kidding me? If Burke thinks his major job function is to police the Village, then he should be impeached!

So- the Democratic ticket (aka- the 3 Stooges) decide to "trick" the public by insinuating that they are endorsed by the Community party. Then, Bo, intellectual scholar that he is, expounds about "The Voice of Reason" in this week's Photo News, and interestingly enough, the Communty Party used that same phrase during the Village campaign.

Coincidence?? Never.
Intentional? Without a doubt. Disrespecting voters?? You betcha.
Sealing their defeat?? ABSOLUTELY.

I can sympathize with the Community Party. According to today’s Record, Bo has adopted the phrase “Not One Inch.” That’s the slogan that I created for SOCA.

Perhaps Bo, John and Carlton should consider the motto “Not One Original Idea.”

Bo was talking about something else when he referred to "Not one inch".

Holly why are you posting on this blog? You should talk! You turned tail and left town at the first sign of trouble, you didnt even finish your term! You should just keep your nose out of Woodbury politics, it doesnt concern you anymore! And why are you still on the Woodbury Republican Committee, wont Cornwall have you???? And what was YOUR legacy from the Town Board? The employees getting a union?

Just keep your nose out of OUR election, you two faced b#@@h!

Has everyone put out their garbage cans in anticipation of the GREAT DELIVERY??? Yes boys and girls, it's almost that time...forget about waiting for the GREAT PUMPKIN Charlie Brown...in about 24 hours, the GREAT PACKET OF PROPOGANDA will be arriving to a trash recepticle near you! Do yourselves a favor...detach it and throw it right in the can where it belongs, then promptly go to the polls and VOTE ROW B!!!

It has started! Bo and Carlton are delivering their "Yellow paper" of lies to residents in Timber Ridge. Somehow I get the feeling that the person behind the creation of this paper is non other than that bastion of virtue, "RJ" aka the Boob.

The only yellow paper I've seen has come from McNeil to try and show what the ballot looks like. Not a very good likeness either.

Hey doesn't anyone see that Bo perhaps wasn't acting like the Community group but dissing them instead. Read it through another light.

If you can get one, we'd love to see what's being said in those flyers here, Uncle. Lets put the speed of the internet to good use in uncovering any last minute scare-tactics and misinformation.

Hey Bo, if this is your feeble attempt at clarification, it ain't gonna work- not enough people read this blog! Next time, have someone with at least an 8th grade education read your letter before you send it in!

The flyers that Bo and Carlton are putting out INCORRECTLY blame Mike and Lorraine for the change in assessments in Timber Ridge and elswhere. The flyer states that there was a plan by the town board to change the assessments, naming Mike and Lorraine and conveniently leaving out John Burke. IF the town board was responsible, then by that same logic wouldn't John Burke be responsible as well?

But anyone with a basic understanding of town government would know that the town board doesnt do assessments.

Bo and Carlton are actually running for a postition they dont understand. scary, huh?

Who said Halloween is over?

What the Town needs is a good enema!!!

If what you're saying about the "yellow piece of paper" is true, then both Mike and Lorraine should be incensed enough to bring both Bo & Carlton up on libel charges...lets see if the Democrats pay for a defense of that one. Figures that they're dumb enough to actually hand out that stuff themselves- shows that they have absolutely NO concept of the workings of the municipal government.
Perhaps Mike and Lorraine should send them thank you notes on Wednseday for all the hard work they did to get Mike & Lorraine RE-ELECTED !! Ha, ha, ha!
