Well I heard Coroy once at meeting didn't say a word. Swiller went a whole day without saying soca. Aronowitz is really Ralps son. Gerri got passed 9th grade. Hunters butt got stuck in a chair. Crouse is a lilly pop kid not a munchin. Haviland once told someone the board meets once a month.
Does anyone know if there is any truth to this whole Republican and Democratic "Let's Make a Deal" scheme? Seems to me that if the Reps don't endorse their incumbant Sheila, and the Dems don't endorse their incumbant Roxanne, then something is rotten in Denmark, I mean Woodbury! Word on the street is that the Reps who care and Dems who care are making moves to oust Ralph and Bob from their thrones, for this latest display of treason to their respective parties...just another rumor...we'll have to wait and see!
It is definite and quite sad. We have a 2 party system in this country for a reason. But not here in Woodbury. Here we have what someone on here has described best as the Replocrats. I call it political bossism at it's worse. Each party selling out it's candidates (i.e. Sheila=GOP and Galvin=Dems) Only the people of Woodbury...those of us who care enough about our town and it's political future can stop it. We can do it with landslide victories for Sheila Conroy, James Galvin as a write-in for Judge and Roxanne to keep Boss Ralphie out of Goshen (where no one really wants him either)
Can you tell me in the four years both Sheila Conroy and James Galvin had in office what they have done. Tell Sheila that my family has not seen a rasie in years while she has gotten one each year she was in office! WPD got a big raise while town workers get nothing. Galvin lost so if the people wanted him he would still be in office. Sheila can not be trusted and puts all her friends in her offfice jobs. Please its time for a change and for Roxanne other then the pipeline what has she done too for Woodbury. Everyone on the board is a joke Gerri go paint your nails, Mike go get a wig,MeNeil why even show up and cambell why did she even run?

I was sympathetic with your issues (we all could use a raise!!) until you suggested that Sheila Conroy " can not be trusted and puts all her friends in her offfice jobs". She is one of the most ethical people I have ever met in my life (perhaps too ethical). Please separate your personal issue (although valid) with the serious bigger picture in Woodbury. Do you really think you'll be better off with the alternative??
Hey workers. You sound more and more like an ad for Caruso and his gang. The only one you have any good words for is Aronowitz? That's a joke right there. I alwaus liked you hiway guys (if you are one- now I wonder) but if you only care about getting what the cops get - no way! And if you don't give a crap about the town or anything else because of it - screw you all! This town matters to me and it sounnds like you are all selfish bastards.

From one anonymous to another ....you hit the nail on the head ....many residents are disgusted with the current highway dept as they watch day after day the highway trucks riding around aimlessly with 2 men in them and not even stopping to do a simple task like clean out a storm drain or pickup fallen tree limbs in the roadway.If they had a better work ethic I beleive the taxpayers would support them in their quest for a incease in salary . It;s up to them to change the perception that they have created in the publics eyes............
Well I think the taxpayers are feed up with everyone on the board and its time for a change. We had four years of Sheila Conroy who can’t make a decision and has no leadership skills. She has made sure the two new housing projects move faster then the speed of light which may not be a bad thing, but we still have major problems with traffic along route 32, we have so many roads with pot holes that never get fixed, the sidewalks are crumbling, the parks needs so many improvements (like maybe a new grill cover or some more grills) etc. From where I sit she has be following the advise of others on the housing projects and that’s why they are getting done so maybe who ever is behind that should run for Supervisor! I understand the whole land issues but there so many things falling off the radar that she is not doing.
I think we are getting out of hand with making fun of people's personal appearence. Stick to the facts and stop being hurtful. It's one thing to make fun or insult the candidates, they understand it comes with the job, but to make fun of our volunteers like Robin C and Maria H is a disgrace!
I don't think that the taxpayers are "feed" up with the board. I do know that Route 32 was taken over by the state and we have no say. That pot holes should be fixed by our friend "workers" not by the board. And that you say Sheila is doing nothiong, but she is doing well so someone else must be controlling her - now that's great logic. Sorry Ralphie, doesn't wash.

The Lollipop League
The politics in Woodbury have been the same over and over for the past thirty years. Some of the players have changed (and some haven't), but the beat goes on year in and year out. Everyone in this Town should and must learn to work together to protect our community from the real threat, our neighbors to the West. Why is there no more talk of annexation? because they will simply continue buying houses and registering ten or twelve voters at each address, until they can and will control the vote and install a Hasidic Town Board. They will not steal a few acres from our Town, they will steal it all, and if we don't wake up and concentrate our efforts in the right direction, no-one will be able to save us.
You're damn right! Ralphie boy for over 30 yrs...playing the same game, over and over and over again...now that he lost his playmate Marty Stanise, he's got the whole throne to himself! We gotta get him outta there!
Ralph's dream come true would be that the hasids build a voter base here in town. Then he can rule the whole thing just like Donnie Weeks in Monroe. Soon our political world here in Woodbury will be just like Monroe. All of us can all go out and vote and vote for one set of people...but a few "KJ Districts" will vote en-bloc and out vote us all. Then we can just change the name of the damn town to Carusoville.
